Habit is giving customers a chance to walk away with a free meal without spending a single dollar. Called Habit Hour, the giveaway runs from October 26th through November 4th, with the chain handing out approximately 20,000 free meals nationwide every day.

The chain is giving away 200,000 Gotta Habit Dipping Trio Boxes over 10 days, with each meal valued at $10. That brings the total value of the giveaway to approximately $2 million.

But there’s a limit at individual restaurants: Only the first 50 customers at each participating location can claim a free box during that day’s Habit Hour.

The best part is that there’s no need to buy a drink, order a side, or spend any money before getting the free food. Customers can simply walk in and ask for the giveaway meal when the promotion begins.

Here’s What Comes Inside The Free Dipping Trio Box

The free meal is the Gotta Habit Dipping Trio Box, a $10 combo that Habit introduced recently. You get get a cheeseburger cut into two halves, five crispy chicken bites, a small side, and a regular drink.

There are three burger options, so there’s something for different taste preferences.

The BBQ Dipping Trio Box comes with American cheese, pickles, mayonnaise, barbecue sauce, and crispy onion tanglers. It’s the one to consider for anyone who enjoys a smoky, slightly sweet burger with a little crunch.

Prefer something creamy? The Ranch Dipping Trio Box combines American cheese, pickles, chunky avocado, and Habit’s housemade ranch. That’s a nice combination for customers who like their burgers with a creamy sauce and a little extra richness.

And there’s the Spicy Dipping Trio Box, which brings some heat with white American cheese, pickles, jalapeños, and creamy spicy mayonnaise.

How To Find Out When Habit Hour Starts Each Day

Habit Hour doesn’t have a fixed daily schedule. The giveaway starts at a surprise time each day between October 26th and November 4th, so customers will need to pay attention to Habit’s announcements. Thankfully, the chain has a system to help people avoid missing out.

MyHabit loyalty members who have signed up for push notifications will receive an alert two hours before that day’s giveaway. That’s a useful head start for anyone who wants to plan a quick visit.

Once the clock starts, the first 50 customers at each participating restaurant can claim their free meal. The giveaway lasts for one hour or until all 50 meals have been claimed, whichever happens first.
