HI-CHEW’s Getting In On The Dirty Soda Game

Dirty soda’s going nowhere, people. Nowhere, I say! The first few months of 2026 were full of announcements about dirty sodas being launched on fast food chain menus – and then, we had a brief lull, and it looked as though it might be over. Well, as of July 2, 2026, we’re firmly back in business (we never really left business, but there we are): We just announced that Arby’s might be getting a new dirty soda, and we’re following that up with the news that HI-CHEW’s also getting involved.

HI-CHEW x FiiZ Dirty Sodas

Hi-CHEW announced in a press release yesterday that it’s teaming up with Utah-based specialty soda shop FiiZ to debut a pair of new dirty sodas, inspired by flavors in the HI-CHEW Dessert Mix. The release marks HI-CHEW’s entry into the beverage space, and it’s done it in style!

The two dirty soda flavors that HI-CHEW and FiiZ are bringing to the table are:

• HI-CHEW x FiiZ Orange Creamsicle: Orange Fanta mixed with ice cream purée and cream, topped with whipped cream and an Orange Creamsicle HI-CHEW. 
• HI-CHEW x FiiZ Frozen Key Lime Pie: A blend of ice cream, cream, key lime and vanilla syrups, topped with whipped cream, graham cracker crumbles, fresh lime and – the crowning touch – a Key Lime Pie HI-CHEW. Both of these drinks sound good, but this one? Oh, boy.

According to Teruhiro “Terry” Kawabe, Chief Representative for the USA and President & CEO of Morinaga America, Inc (which owns the HI-CHEW brand), the collaboration with FiiZ marks a logical next step in its pursuit of moving beyond traditional candy. We’ve seen that inclination in action recently with the release of a new HI-CHEW frozen yogurt at Menchies – and now, we get a creamified version, once again. 

A Canny Collab

HI-CHEW’s move to work with FiiZ here feels like a smart one, and no doubt a very satisfying one for dirty soda fans. Utah is, of course, the birthplace of the dirty soda – and FiiZ clearly knows what it’s doing here. The ice cream purée and cream in these drinks feel a cut above the creamer or cold foam vibe that some other dirty sodas out there have (not naming any names), so I feel these will hit the spot. 

These new flavors are on sale now at FiiZ locations nationwide and will be through August 31, priced $3.99 to $5.99, depending on the size you get (the Frozen Key Lime Pie flavor is only available in a 16-ounce serving, though, just FYI). Go forth and sip.
