Horror Movie Villains as Halloween Candy

I love Halloween candy almost as much as I love horror movies, so I had to compile a list of iconic film villains as seasonal sweet treats.

You probably already know that I am a professional food taste tester, but you might not know that I am also a horror movie connoisseur. I try to see every single horror movie that comes out. Gory, goofy, psychological, and even bad: I love them all. And, like most horror movie lovers, I love the villains! I only had so much time to make this list because apparently I’m supposed to also be doing “other work” (weird), so I am asking you to help me finish this list. Drop your favorite horror movie villain and what Halloween candy they’d be in the comments.

The Nun (The Nun): Hershey’s Cookies ‘n’ Creme Fangs

The black-and-white coloring of these mini cookies & cream bars is reminiscent of the Nun’s scary black-and-white face. Plus, one of the Nun’s most notable traits is her scary teeth. These little fangs are a cuter and more delicious rendition of that.

Pennywise (IT): Mummy Melts Cotton Candy

Much like Pennywise, these Halloween packs of cotton candy seem fun but aren’t. Don’t be fooled! They are not good, much like the evil clown himself. And cotton candy is circus-y, just like clowns.

Sue Ann (Ma): Dove Halloween Dark Chocolate Pumpkins

Sue Ann (played by Octavia Spencer) is one of the greatest horror movie villains of all time. If you haven’t seen Ma, I insist you go watch it right this moment. She’s a mom gone mad wreaking havoc on a small town because she wants revenge. There is no Halloween candy more mom-esque than a Dove dark chocolate square.

Michael Myers (Halloween): Reese’s Chocolate & Peanut Butter Halloween Pumpkin

Halloween is a classic horror movie and Michael Myers is a classic horror movie villain. Reese’s Pumpkins are one of the most classic Halloween candy options to ever exist. Both are extremely simple but are the best in their respective realms and have maintained that title for many years.

Jason (Friday the 13th): Welch’s Halloween Mixed Fruit Fruit Snacks

horror movie villains

Welch’s Fruit Snacks are good (okay, they’re better than good—they’re the best fruit snacks you can buy), but they will never be as good as receiving candy on Halloween. Jason and the Friday the 13th franchise are good, but they don’t hold a candle to most other horror movies and their villains. Sorry! It’s the truth.
