Hot Ones, the iconic celebrity interview/hot sauce taste test show, has paired up with Hot Pockets, the iconic microwavable bread/meat tube brand, have joined forces to create a line of Hot Ones Hot Pockets. These Hot Pockets are filled with the actual Hot Ones hot sauces from the show! Let’s find out if these are a spicy gimmick or a real hot commodity.
This is the most mild version of the Hot Ones Hot Pockets and it is also the most delicious. It’s like if a spicy chicken enchilada and a Costco chicken bake had a baby, making one of the best Hot Pockets out there.
Pros: There is tons of gooey, cheesy, saucy filling jammed into this Hot Pocket. The sauce is slightly spicy and super savory. Like always, the Hot Pocket crust is crisp. This also has big pieces of chicken and bacon in the mix. I would definitely buy these Hot Pockets again.
Cons: Honestly, there are pretty much no cons. This is one of the best Hot Pockets I’ve had. I love it.
Think Philly Cheesesteak but spicier! In my opinion, this is better than the classic Philly Cheesesteak Hot Pocket.
Pros: This has a great green chile flavor, much like the name promises. It also has a nice kick! There’s a decent amount of meat and, once again, a 10/10 crust.
Cons: There are way too many pepper skins in this one. If that doesn’t bother you, great! It did bother us. Also, beef is never the best Hot Pockets option. It’s always a little tough and chewy.
This uses the hottest of the Hot Ones hot sauces, and you can tell. They rate this Hot Pocket a 10/10 on the spiciness scale. We don’t think it’s that hot, but it definitely packs a punch of spice.
Pros: This is wonderfully meat and actually spicy. There’s plenty of cheese and sauce. If you don’t mind having heartburn, buy this Hot Pocket. It tastes really good.
Cons: Why do Hot Ones Hot Pockets come in two different pepperoni flavors?? Could they not think of another spicy filling? They should ditch the one with sausage and pepperoni and just keep this one.
