It’s that time of the year: The holidays are coming, and rumours are circulating about what special or festive treats fast food restaurants, grocery stores, and pretty much every retailer are planning to appear in stores or on menus to celebrate. Will a limited-time item achieve icon status like McDonald’s famed Shamrock Shake? Or will brand-new items like last year’s Candy Cane Oreo Puffs debut, combining seasonal flavors and classic foods?

Well, if you’re a fan of Taco Bell’s Baja Blast, we’ve got holiday news you’ll love — and some sneak peaks about items that are rumored to debut once the holidays wrap and 2027 arrives. We found out that Taco Bell and Mountain Dew are taking Baja Blast to entirely new heights (and no, not a single piece of this news is related to more drinks!).

Taco Bell Just Might Introduce a Baja Blast Gingerbread House

Not into gingerbread houses? Well, this might be your year if you’re a Baja Blast fan, because one of Taco Bell’s rumored upcoming releases just might blend the staple holiday treat and activity with the iconic Mountain Dew beverage.

Yep, Baja Blast — specifically Baja Blast Tropical Lime — just might be turned into a snackable treat in the form of a gingerbread house. Will the frosting be flavored by Baja Blast? Or will the hard pieces of gingerbread cookie take on the flavor instead? We have no idea, but this is one of the wildest holiday ideas we’ve ever heard of… and yet we also desperately want to see it come to life. We need to know what this might possibly look and taste like.

Now, it’s worth noting that we don’t have a rumored release date for the Mountain Dew Baja Blast Tropical Lime Gingerbread House. It likely won’t hit store shelves for the 2026 holiday season — after all, most of this year’s products are already set in stone. But this wild concoction could appear next year for Christmas 2027, so start getting your tastebuds ready now.

Baja Blast Choco Tacos And Even a Pie Could Debut, Too

Baja Blast fans who are slightly terrified about that gingerbread house will have two other potential new items to try that are less fever dream-esque. Taco Bell is rumored to have a Baja Blast — specifically, a Baja Midnight — Choco Taco in the works.

The Mountain Dew Baja Midnight Taco Bell and Salt and Straw teamed up once already to introduce a Choco Taco dupe called the Tacolate back in 2025. And in 2027, the two companies are joining forces again to take Baja Midnight and transform it into an ice cream-filled waffle cone-like taco complete with dessert-inspired toppings. And we’ll be honest: It sounds pretty decadent and delicious.

Last on the list of rumored Baja Blast-inspired products coming up in 2027 is another item that’ll taste like Baja Midnight: a pie. Yep, Taco Bell and Mountain Dew appear to be going all in on sweet treats inspired by the Baja lineup, and this pie could resemble a chocolate pie that caps off your usual Taco Bell meal.

Only time will tell if these Baja Blast-inspired items do see the light of day next year. And even as weird as some of them are, at least it’ll be an exciting lineup for anyone who’s serious about all things Baja Blast.
