Jeni’s Ice Cream is always innovating, and today is no different. Jeni’s sent over four dessert-flavored ice creams for us to review. Grab a spoon; it’s time to dig through these freezer-aisle delights.

- Jeni’s Dulce de Leche Ice Cream Review
-
Pros: This Sweetened Condensed Milk-flavored ice cream really needs to return in future pints from Jeni’s; the subtle base’s sweetness is a great foundation for mix-ins. The added caramel is truly ooey, gooey, and will definitely glue your teeth together.
Cons: I wish the caramel swirl were actually a swirl and not just a giant glob in the center of the pint. This really took some mixing to prevent getting spoonfuls of pure goo.

- Jeni’s Cranberry Panettone with Chocolate Sprinkles Ice Cream Review
-
Pros: This Christmas bread-inspired ice cream is a truly soft, luxurious custard with some amazing cranberry-orange jam distributed throughout the pint. The generous helping of chocolate sprinkles adds a crunch that does a lot to evoke the texture of this flavor’s inspiration.
Cons: I’m not buying the idea that this custard is “brioche scented”. I like this flavor plenty, but we can’t let ice cream get into gel pen territory.

- Jeni’s White Chocolate Peppermint Ice Cream Review
-
Pros: The flavor of the ice cream (sans the white chocolate mix-ins) is identical to the center of a York Peppermint Patty.
Cons: I wanted this to taste like those after-dinner buttermints, but Jeni’s actually already produces a Savannah Buttermint ice cream (which I gave a 9/10 in our Jeni’s Ice Cream ranking). What we actually have here is a toothpaste-scented ice cream with visually unappealing white chocolate “freckles”.

- Jeni’s Pistachio Macaron Ice Cream Review
-
Pros: The flavor is accurate to a real pistachio macaron, but I am truly dumbfounded at the texture. The label describes this ice cream as having a nougat-like honey texture, and it’s 100% accurate. How did this simple, mix-in-free ice cream become the most texturally interesting ice cream I’ve reviewed in a long time? Between a great flavor and a wild mouthfeel, Jeni’s has a real winner here.
Cons: This pistachio ice cream is authentically green. That’s a somewhat off-putting introduction to one of the best ice creams in the game today.
