Jif Is Dropping 2 New Treats Just for Easter

Look, we’re not going to beat around the bush about it: We love JIF. Yes, we know, we know it’s not the classiest peanut butter choice out there, but that sweet-salty flavor and the impeccable nuttiness you get in each bite? It’s doing something right, people. We love JIF so much that we voted it the best peanut butter in our official taste-test – and so when we found out that the brand is releasing Easter candy filled with its delicious spread, you best believe that we got excited about it.

All thanks to Instagram snack lord @markie_devo, then, who recently dropped the news that JIF’s got two new Easter delights on the way. It’s also got a couple of additional products that are due to arrive in stores imminently. It’s JIF season, people. 

JIF’s New Snacks Have Risen

Here’s what the Peanut Butter Overlords have in store for your Easter baskets this year:

JIF Peanut Butter Bunny

A milk chocolate bunny that is filled (hopefully to the brim) with JIF creamy peanut butter. JIF’s no stranger to combining peanut butter and chocolate, and while we suspect that this one could well stick to the roof of your mouth for extended periods, we also suspect that it’ll be very, very tasty. 

JIF Filled Egg

Here’s one to hide for the kids! The JIF Filled Egg takes the same formula as its Peanut Butter Bunny (chocolate shell + peanut butter filling = success), and adapts it to an egg shape and format. We’re slightly disappointed that this egg seems to be flat, but hey. We’re not gonna complain about new peanut butter candy. We also think that this one will be a little less, shall we say, fussy than Lindt’s new Dubai chocolate egg (is that trend ever going to die?).

New Spread, New Sprinkles

As well as its two new Easter-themed treats, JIF is also releasing two jars of sprinkles: One has a pure peanut butter flavor, while the other is a combo of peanut butter and chocolate. If you’re looking to make your bakes just that little bit more nutty, these are the ones for you.

Additionally, the brand is also releasing a crunchy version of its Peanut Butter & Chocolate Spread, which has the same “50% less sugar” promise as its earlier product. When we tried the smooth version of this peanut butter & chocolate spread, we weren’t totally blown away, and we kinda craved a bit more of a chocolate note – so hopefully this one delivers. 

Where Can I Get These JIF Treats?

Word on the street is that they’re being rolled out over the next few days and weeks, but they’ve already been spotted in certain stores. So far, it looks like Walmart and H-E-B are the major stockers of its Easter candies and sprinkles – but honestly, we’d imagine that they’re gonna travel pretty far and wide.
