The brand’s new Maple Brown Sugar Rolls rolled out nationwide, starting October 1st. They’re made with real maple brown sugar crumbles baked into each roll, bringing maple firmly into the King’s Hawaiian universe. Fine. Makes sense. Maple. Brown sugar. Sweet rolls. I’m with you.
Then King’s Hawaiian made a matching sweatsuit.
There’s also a blanket and a scented candle, because this is no longer just a bread launch. There are outfits involved.
What’s In The New Maple Brown Sugar Rolls?
The Maple Brown Sugar Rolls take King’s Hawaiian’s soft, sweet rolls and add real maple brown sugar crumbles throughout.
It’s not a huge leap for a roll that was already pretty sweet. If anything, maple and brown sugar have probably been waiting for this invitation. And there’s plenty you could do with them. Breakfast sandwiches immediately come to mind. French toast feels like an obvious move. Even just butter feels like it would have a pretty good day here.
I’m also curious what this does to the usual King’s Hawaiian slider situation. The original rolls work with everything from ham and cheese to pulled pork, but maple brown sugar is bringing considerably more breakfast energy to the table. Bacon, egg, and cheese? Absolutely. Leftover Thanksgiving turkey? I could be convinced. Tuna salad? Maybe this is where I finally draw a line.
But the actual rolls are only half of what’s happening here.
The rolls have accessories.
Yes, There’s a King’s Hawaiian Maple Brown Sugar Sweatsuit
I need to talk about the sweatsuit.
King’s Hawaiian made a Maple Brown Sugar Roll-themed sweatsuit to go with the new rolls. So you can now eat King’s Hawaiian while dressed in King’s Hawaiian. There’s also a matching blanket. I don’t know how much warmer we need to make this situation. You’ve got maple. You’ve got brown sugar. You’ve got fresh rolls. You’re in a sweatsuit under a blanket. And then you light the Maple Brown Sugar Roll scented candle.
Now the house smells like the roll too.
I hope whoever you live with likes maple. Imagine inviting somebody over and handing them a Maple Brown Sugar Roll while wearing the matching sweatsuit. They look around. Matching blanket. Matching candle. Don’t explain anything.
Where Can You Get King’s Hawaiian Maple Brown Sugar Rolls?
King’s Hawaiian Maple Brown Sugar Rolls arrived nationwide October 1st and will only be around for a limited time.
You could just buy the rolls like a normal person. You could get the sweatsuit. Or you could go all in: rolls on the table, candle burning, blanket out, sweatsuit on.
You are the Maple Brown Sugar Roll.
