Wow. I guess when it rains, it freaking floods. Knorr, the pasta and rice sides company, has some news. A lot of news. They’re giving us new single-serving pasta and rice cups in not one, not two, but eight flavors. That’s a lot to process. It’s also coming with a one-of-a-kind event to kick things off that I actually had to do a double take on. Let’s get into all the details.

Eight New Single-Serving Cups
Hey, if you’re going to go all out then don’t pull any punches. The new single-serving cups will come with options for pasta (cheddar broccoli, chicken, creamy alfredo, and creamy garlic) and rice (cheddar broccoli, chicken, Spanish style, and chicken broccoli). Knorr’s sides were already pretty convenient but man, I guess it wasn’t convenient enough for the task at hand.
They’re aiming at creating a snack that is easy to fit in between full-time jobs, class, side hustles, hobbies, and a never-ending to-do list. I’d say the new cup version is just the trick. I mean they were already feeding us straight out of a bag which was pretty easy to take on the go as it is. The only problem was those bags just can’t quite fit into a cup holder so naturally this evolution was the only direction to go in.
The Knorr Flash Cupping Studio
Let’s walk through this slowly because there is a lot to follow. The Knorr Flash Cupping Studio. You know, the massage therapy technique where cups are used to relax your muscles? Naturally when planning a launch party for your snack cups, a full on massage parlor pop-up was the only way to really celebrate.
For the brave and the bold, on October 29th Knorr hosted a flash cupping studio in New York City at 178 Bleeker St. from 3PM to 8PM ET. They gave out complimentary cupping sessions and hot-out-the-microwave Knorr Cups. It’s certainly a strange promotion, but hey, we’ve seen weirder stuff.
Available Nationwide Now
Though Knorr stresses the cupping sessions will be provided by licensed practitioners, I’ll pass on the offer. Thankfully we can skip all that chaos and just get right into buying the Knorr Cups. They’re a true testament to convenience that I really don’t see myself passing up the opportunity to use. Just fill up the cup with water, pop it into the microwave, and dig in. These ingenious creations can now be found at retailers nationwide and on Amazon.
