Dear hard seltzer,

I regret to inform you that we are not compatible. You will never win my day drinking heart. I’m impressed by how you’ve weaseled your way into my friends’ coolers. Where did the beer go? Where did the Margaritas and Sangria go? I truly don’t care that you are 100 calories per can, because everyone ends up drinking ten of you with a side of 20 slices of pizza, anyway. There ARE laws when you’re drinking Claws and the law is: STOP BRINGING THEM TO MY DAMN HOUSE!

Anyway, I’ve found someone else and he is quite the lover boy. No, literally…it’s called Loverboy Sparkling Hard Tea. As much as I love beer, I totally understand not wanting to drink it poolside/lakeside all day long. The beer gut just doesn’t feel good after a while in the hot sun. But while hard seltzer solves this problem, it just doesn’t taste good! Loverboy sparkling hard teas taste incredible, they don’t make you bloat, they’re under 5% ABV.

I am a huge sucker for Twisted Tea. It was my first alcoholic drink I enjoyed when I was 21 years of age. You can find it anywhere, but it’s especially popular in Maine because it’s a wicked good camp drink (Mainers, you know what I’m talking about). But Twisted Teas are pretty sweet and sometimes I just need something a wee bit lighter. That’s where Loverboy comes in. These cans of refreshing AF energy are a lil’ bubbly, a lil’ sweet, a lil’ not too sweet, and a lot of a good time. So, please oh please, give them a try. Because I’m over the hard seltzer train and I need to see all of your coolers, your friends’ coolers, and your friends-of-friends’ coolers filled with these Loverboys.
