Lily’s Pick: Arboleda Foods Chicas Corn Tortilla Chips

I will have a full nervous breakdown when I dip a tortilla chip into some guac and the chip just crumbles to pieces. For some reason, grocery stores (excluding the amazing Mexican markets we are blessed to have in L.A.) are flooded with the crumbliest, over salted, stupidest tortilla chip brands ever. Lucky for you? I found the thickest baby girl who is perfectly salted and won’t break when you want a little dip for that chip. Her name is Arboleda Foods Chicas Corn Chips and she is my chica for life.
Oh, I forgot to mention she comes in lime when she’s feeling a little zesty and blue corn when she’s feeling a little… well, blue. Regardless, she is so tasty and crunchy and I enjoy her with guacamole, with salsa, by herself and if I’m feeling real crazy, she’s a good base to a cheesy nacho tray as well. Say goodbye to Mr. Tostitos because a new girl is in town and she will change your life forever. Chicas? Te amo para siempre.
