Little Debbie Launches Single-Serving Birthday Cakes

Little Debbie snack cakes are there for every occasion, whether you need some Christmas cheer or a birthday treat. Now, Little Debbie is making a beloved flavor available individually for the first time. 

Previously, you could only get a box of Little Debbie Birthday Cakes, which came with eight individually wrapped sweets, but with the launch of the single-serving Birthday Cakes, you can celebrate like every day is your birthday. 

What’s different about the Little Debbie Birthday Cake?

Flavor-wise, it’s the same cake you know and love, just individually sold! The main difference here is the shape: it’s a hexagon, unlike the rectangular Birthday Cakes you’re used to. But this new aesthetic makes it look closer to a real birthday cake. With the size change also comes a calorie increase. The single-serving ones are 380 calories, while the multi-pack cakes are 200 calories per serving. 

What does the Little Debbie Birthday Cake taste like?

These are vanilla-flavored cakes with “candy confetti,” layered with vanilla cream and coated in white icing and colorful sprinkles.

It’s out now! You can find it in the snack aisle at your local grocery store or at convenience stores.

Is the Little Debbie Birthday Cake the only single-serving version of the brand’s classic flavors?

It’s not, as Little Debbie began rolling out individually-wrapped snacks including the Nutty Buddy Cakes, Deluxe Cinnamon Roll, Cheese Danish, Cream Cheese Streusel Cakes, Pound Cakes, and Cinnamon Streusel Cakes.

After first being rumored by snack bloggers like Markie Devo and Snack Wire, it was confirmed that Little Debbie is releasing Boston Creme Pies. Those drop in March. Another recent addition is the Banana Puddin’ Creme Pies.
