McDonald’s Launched an Official Secret Menu Based on Customer Hacks

It’s available in the UK and Ireland, but a US rollout is possible…

For years, McDonald’s fans have been spreading “McDonald’s Hacks” on social media, sharing weird variations and combos they created by combining or altering regular items on the menu. Well, McDonald’s decided to jump on that hacks bandwagon by releasing their first ever “official” secret menu, based on several McDonald’s Hack items.

The secret menu is available in UK and Ireland locations, and you can even see it on their website (which really seems to undermine the whole “secret” aspect of it).

Could it come to the US? There’s no word about it so far, but it’s proven popular enough in UK and Ireland to keep going for months. And we’re betting it would get a strong response here in the states.

(I can’t be the only one who wants to try that Espresso Milkshake.)

What’s on the menu?

Surf N’ Turf

“Two 100% British & Irish beef patties layered with cheese, onions, pickles, mustard, and a dollop of tomato ketchup – paired with a MSC certified crispy white Alaskan Pollock fish filet patty.” Basically, a Double Cheeseburger combined with a Fillet-O-Fish patty.

Chicken Cheeseburger

“A 100% British & Irish beef patty join a crispy coated chicken patty, with a slice of cheese, onions, mustard, and a dollop of tomato ketchup.”  A Cheeseburger (the best McDonald’s burger) with a McChicken patty on it.

Chicken Big Mac

“Inside a perfectly toasted bun, you’ll find two chicken patties, a slice of cheese, lettuce, pickles, and of course the unbeatable Big Mac sauce.” Yeah, it’s a Big Mac, but with two McChicken patties instead of the meat.

Espresso Milkshake

A Vanilla milkshake served with a shot of espresso that you can combine into one coffee-flavored treat.

Apple Pie Mini McFlurry

An ice cream mixed with caramel topping, served with a Hot Apple Pie that you can dip into the ice cream.
