A New Monster Ultra Flavor Just Hit Circle K Early

Folks, I’ve written thousands of words about Monster Energy’s 2026 release lineup. From the first information trickling through my sources last September to Monster themselves drowning me in knowledge at the NACS Expo—seriously, they told me all their release plans for the next eight months. Who willingly gives up all their secrets that early? That’s pure confidence, and I respect it.

Just as I was starting to think I knew what I was doing, Monster Energy circled back with a surprise: One of this year’s Monster Ultra flavors is launching early. I’m happy to announce that Sporked readers’ #1 Most Anticipated Monster Energy Flavor of 2026 is hitting shelves today, a full two months earlier than expected. Put your earplugs in and get ready to mosh: Monster Ultra Punk Punch is taking the stage at your local Circle K.

What does “punk punch” taste like?

Per the press release shared with yours truly, Monster Ultra Punk Punch features the flavors of “juicy red berries and cherries with the sweetness of pineapple and zest of citrus, finished with a refreshing hint of mango and kiwi.” And, as always for the Monster Ultra line, that fruit punchiness will come with absolutely no sugar.

If that flavor mix sounds like it’d be better suited on top of Carmen Miranda’s head, rest easy; I tried this drink back at NACS Expo and absolutely loved it. I’ll be doing an in-depth review here later this week. Keep your eyes on Sporked for everything Monster Energy as we continue to monitor these surprise developments. (Oh, and if you’re worried: This flavor won’t be permanently exclusive to Circle K. They’ve just got the exclusive early rights until March, when we’ll see this flavor launch at all the regular Monster retailers.)

(Poor Monster Ultra Black, it only just got settled in that throne.)
