Crush is one of those sodas that I think slips under a lot of folks’ radars. The Keurig-Dr Pepper brand is most known for its orange flavor (which we ranked as the best orange soda) but the brand boasts a wide variety of other flavors including pineapple, grape, and strawberry. But in 2025, a new Crush is coming to town—and it’s a blast from the past.
Wait, is this an old soda? A returning flavor? Or something totally new?
For this new Crush flavor, the brand is strapping us into a DeLorean and taking us back to the ‘80s. OK, maybe not literally. But Crush is capturing the essence of the 1980s in a new flavor, called “Back to the 80s.”
What flavor is this new Crush soda?
Keurig-Dr Pepper has decided that the ‘80s taste like “Electric Blue Razz.” This is heavy! The brand promises to “take consumers on a neon-infused journey back to the 80s, delivering fun, classic flavor, and carefree happiness with every sip!” And it starts with the packaging, which features a very nostalgic vaporwave aesthetic. sign me right up.
When can I get this new Crush? And will it be available in zero sugar?
Zero sugar drinkers, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this new Crush flavor will not be released in zero sugar. Apparently only full sugar drinkers are welcomed aboard this time machine.
Our sources at Team Supernova tell us this new Crush flavor will drop in July of 2025 for a limited time in both cans and bottles. So, if you are a nostalgia seeker or a lover of blue raspberry, this is one to add to the shopping list! And if you aren’t, why don’t you make like a tree and get out of here?
