Crystal Light hasn’t been light on moves in the last year (see what I did there? Sorry, couldn’t resist). It’s been a busy 12 months or so for the beverage brand, which most recently – as in, just a few weeks ago – dropped a selection of Booktok-inspired drinks that were, for want of a better description, slightly baffling.

Arguably the biggest thing it’s done in a minute, though, is release Crystal Light Vodka Refreshers, which dropped last March. We tried them; we liked them. And good news for everyone else who did, because it’s now putting out two new flavors. Let’s discuss.
Fancy Your Vodka With A Touch Of Raspberry, Anyone?
Crystal Light Vodka Refreshers are now rolling out in Fruit Punch and Raspberry Lemonade flavors. As with the first flavors in its line-up, these drinks will be sugar-free and contain 77 calories per can. They come with a relatively low 3.8% ABV, just enough to get a slight buzz but not enough to set you back the next day (although that’s entirely dependent on how many you drink, of course).
The release and rollout of these two new flavors is supported by beverage distributor Southern Glazer’s, which is helping the drinks brand expand into even more states. Crystal Light Vodka Refreshers will now be available in 46 states overall, and Fruit Punch and Raspberry Lemonade will come in a four-pack and eight-can variety packs featuring multiple different flavors. These will cost around $9.99 and $18.99, respectively, although prices will vary from retailer to retailer.
And…Will They Be Any Good?
We certainly hope so, and you know what? We’ve got a suspicion they will. In last year’s taste test of Crystal Light flavors, we ranked Raspberry Lemonade third in the lineup, giving it a 9/10. We didn’t try its Fruit Punch in that test, but it generally gets pretty solid reviews from customers, so if the brand can convert that into boozy form, then we’re sold.
The move to expand its Vodka Refreshers flavor range is a smart one from Crystal Light, given the seemingly insatiable appetite for ready-to-drink alcoholic beverages, which have recently unseated vodka as the best-selling alcohol in the US. Virtually everyone’s making alcoholic canned beverages these days – even Popsicle’s at it. We respect the hustle, Crystal Light, and once we’ve got our hands on these new flavors, we’ll be reporting back.
