Big Changes are Coming to the Denny’s Menu in 2026

Hello, college students, members of the local retirement home, my uncle Bill, and all other Denny’s clientele. I have great news for you: Denny’s is welcoming 2026 with some brand new menu items, sick deals, and a returning fan favorite.

Since the Denny’s menu can be overwhelming enough as it is, let’s break it down.

The new, never-before-seen menu item now at Denny’s: Mocha Cold Brew

Denny’s new Mocha Cold Brew is made with a medium-roast Colombian coffee, milk, chocolate sauce, and an (optional) whipped cream topping. This isn’t the first cold brew on Denny’s menu, by the way. They also have Salted Caramel and Sweet & Creamy flavors.

Denny’s cold brew seems to have a bit of a cult following online, which I did not know about, but you better believe I’ll be trying it the next time I stumble into a Denny’s at 1 a.m. and carb-load my way into a less intense hangover.

The returning fan-favorite menu item everyone’s excited about: Salted Caramel Banana Slams

Welcome back, Salted Caramel Banana Slams. (That’s a food item, not a beverage, in case you, like me, glossed over the word “slams” and started picturing a Salted Caramel Banana Frappucino of sorts.) You can actually order this salty-sweet slam two different ways: as pancakes or french toast. And I for one wouldn’t judge if you ordered both in the same sitting, just to determine your favorite going forward. Research is important.

More like slammin’ deals. Haha. Did you laugh at that? Because it wasn’t a joke. Denny’s has a new value menu available all day called “Slammin Meal Deals” that start at only $5.99—and it’s a pretty stacked line-up.

Here are the new combos entering Denny’s re-vamped value menu for 2026:

2-Egg Breakfast Slam: two eggs, crispy hash browns, and toast
Breakfast Quesadilla: scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, bacon in a flour tortilla, served with salsa
Two Meat Scrambler: eggs, bacon, sausage, and shredded cheddar in a scrambler, served with hash browns and toast
Fish Sandwich with Fries: crispy fish sandwich with a side of wavy-cut fries
Grand Slam Burrito: bacon, sausage crumbles, scrambled eggs, hash browns and melted cheese in a warm flour tortilla, served with salsa

These enter the value menu alongside previous classics like the Everyday Value Slam, Chicken Tenders and Fries, the One-Piece Country Fried Steak, and more!

$5.99 is a pretty cheap price point for so much food, wouldn’t you agree?

I would, indeed. Look, I have a lot of love for Denny’s. I spent some of my best midnight hours in college finishing essays and scripts with my friends at our local Denny’s. My dad and I would go to Denny’s every time I visited home for the holidays; it was our tradition. I’m glad to see them going the extra mile to make their food even more affordable.
