Burger King, you’re really spoiling us at the moment. It feels like the fast food chain is dropping news, new menu items, or iconic viral ripostes every hour right now: In just the last few days, we’ve been treated to Burger King’s president delivering an almighty comeback to the McDonald’s CEO’s Big Arch gaffe, and a taste-test of the new Whopper. And now, it’s beverage time. Just in time for Spring, Burger King’s announced that it has a new drink available right now, the Frozen Strawberries & Cream, a fun lil’ twist on a dirty soda, which we suspect is gonna be very tasty indeed. Man, they’re busy over at BK!

But what is this drink, we hear you cry? Where can I get it? How long will it be around for? Stop with all your questions! Because we’re going to answer them right here.
What’s This Frozen Fanta Strawberries & Cream, Then?
Burger King’s new drink is a spin on its existing Frozen Fanta Strawberry, and turns that beverage into something a little more icy and smooth. It starts with a base of frozen strawberry soda, and then tops it with a vanilla cold foam. The drink is then adorned with a topping of strawberry shortcake crunch, for some texture and (obviously) more flavor. It’ll set you back anywhere between $2.49 to $3.39 depending on size, although some locations may charge more or less.
The whole thing feels primed for warmer weather, and while it’s not strictly served as a dirty soda in its truest form (those usually have cream or half-and-half mixed into them, which gives it its “dirty” look, whereas this comes with the foam on top), all it would take is a stir to combine the two and give it all that richness. Plus, we all know that strawberries and cream are a killer combo, and anything that combines the two is a winner in our book – although we’ll reserve judgment until more people have tried it, and we actually get a sense of whether Burger King has nailed it here.
Where Can I Get This New Drink?
Nationwide – although, classically, Burger King has stated that it’s only available at participating locations. So, it’s best to call ahead if you’re really hankering for it. Some people have also mentioned that when they went to try it, their restaurant had run out of the cold foam, so you might wanna check that it has everything in stock before you make the trip.
How Long Do I Have to Try This Berry-Forward Beverage?
We suspect not super long. The new Frozen Fanta Strawberries & Cream is a limited-time item, and we would imagine that it’ll likely only be around for a few months, unless it’s a real smash. Get yourself one on a day that’s really scorching for maximum impact.
