Chocolate bunnies? What about chocolate cookie bunnies? That’s the gauntlet that Ghirardelli is laying down this year with its new Easter offering. The chocolate company, which has already made a splash this year with its Valentine’s Day “chocolockets,” is set to amp up the Spring festivities with its Milk Chocolate Cookie Bunnies, combining two of our favorite things (yes, chocolate and cookies) in one delightful package. It ain’t cheap, but it’ll sure be delicious. Here’s what you need to know.

The Easter Bunny Gets a Glow-Up
Ghirardelli’s Milk Chocolate Cookie Bunnies, it said in a press release, “pair Ghirardelli’s velvety milk chocolate with satisfying crunchy cookie pieces for a playful twist on a seasonal classic.” Now, in case you were thinking that this’ll be one giant bunny-shaped chocolate-cookie mash-up, we’re afraid that we’re going to have to let you down gently. Instead, you get a bunch of little bunny chocolate cookies in a 5.8 oz bag, which Ghirardelli says is “perfect for gifting and sharing.” Or, if you ask us, perfect for eating entirely on your own, while feeling that sweet, sweet Easter glow.
Ghirardelli positions itself as a premium chocolate company (just look at how it delivered a variation on the form with Dubai chocolate), and so it’s probably no surprise that these Milk Chocolate Cookie Bunnies are a little expensive: $11.29, to be exact. We think we can all agree that’s a lot to pay for candy, but, we don’t doubt that it’ll be a very satisfying bag of treats indeed. They also come individually wrapped, so they’re great for an Easter egg hunt.
Don’t Worry – We’ve Still Got the Classics
Alongside its new Milk Chocolate Cookie Bunnies, Ghirardelli is also bringing back its much-loved Milk Chocolate Hollow Bunny, which will retail at $6.99. The brand hasn’t stopped there, either. Its full line-up of Easter chocolates, alongside these two main-ticket draws, will feature its Milk Chocolate Caramel Bunnies Bag, Dark Sea Salt Caramel Bunnies Bag, Milk Sea Salt Caramel Bunnies Bag, Solid Milk Chocolate Bunnies Bag, Bunnies Assortment Bag, and its Spring Mini Squares Assortment Bag.
Where Can I Get Them? When Can I Get Them?
Ghirardelli’s Easter chocolates are available now, both online and in stores nationwide. Naturally, these are all limited-edition affairs – we wouldn’t expect them to stick around much beyond Easter Sunday, which falls on April 5 this year. So, if you’ll forgive the absolutely dreadful pun I’m about to type out and leave on your doorstep, I’d hop to it (I’ve still got it, folks!) and grab these candies before they’re too late. While you’re there, grab a handful of the items that Hershey’s is kindly giving the world this year, too.
