Christmastime always brings some of the greatest limited time items and soda is no exception. Whether it’s Spiced Cranberry Sprite, Mtn Dew’s Cranberry Pomegranate “Merry Mash-Up,” or one of many others, Christmas-themed drinks are always a hit, which is why we were super excited when local soda expert Team Supernova shared that PepsiCo would be introducing a brand new flavor of the Sierra Mist replacement Starry: Cranberry Blizz. Yes, PepsiCo is throwing down a competitor to Coca-Cola’s Cranberry Sprite.
What’s the deal with Starry Cranberry Blizz?
While we’re not totally sure of the exact flavor of Starry Cranberry Blizz (is it spiced like Sprite Winter Spiced Cranberry, for example?), we do know one thing that will set it apart. Starry Zero Sugar drinkers; you’ll be thrilled to hear that, yes, this new Starry flavor will be available in zero sugar. In fact, sources tell us that Cranberry Blizz will only be available in zero sugar in 2L bottles and 12 packs. Twist!!
When is Starry Cranberry Blizz coming out?! I’m driving to get it now!
Woah, cool your jets there, Rambo! As awesome as a Christmas in July drop would be (seriously, why aren’t more companies doing that?), Starry Cranberry Blizz Zero Sugar will be dropping this November.
We were pretty split on Starry Zero, but perhaps Starry Cranberry Blizz Zero Sugar will strike a different cord. If you’re a fan of Christmastime treats and you’re a zero sugar drinker, you’re going to want to keep this one on your radar! If you were hoping for a full-sugar version, I guess you’ll have to put it on your wishlist for Santa for next year’s release.
