Lay’s, we knew you wouldn’t let us down. We’ve been covering the new flavors from Lay’s for the 2026 FIFA World Cup for a minute now: Last month, we discussed the fact that it was bringing out a few new flavors (and one returning favorite) for the tournament, and then, a couple of days ago, we brought you further news of its extended range of international flavors. But we had an inkling that the chip brand, which is the official snack sponsor of the World Cup, would have a little more up its sleeve. We just sensed it. Call it chip-based intuition.

Well, now it’s delivered. Yesterday, Lay’s announced that it was in fact releasing forty – yes, forty – new flavors in total this summer, to mark all that soccer. What’s coming? Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming.

All About Lay’s New Flavors

Lay’s confirmed its extensive range of new flavors in a press release, in which it also recapped on a few previously-revealed offerings while also teasing some new ones. Let’s start with what we already know: In the US, Lay’s will release its Wavy French Onion Soup, Brazilian Style Garlic Sauce, and Argentinian Style Steak with Chimichurri flavors. The last of those is a re-release; the first two are new; all of them sound delicious.

It’s also given us an official look at five new flavors that will be released in various countries around the world (we can only imagine that the full list of flavors that it’s bringing out is so extensive that it couldn’t sandwich it into one release, hence it keeping its cards to its chest here a little). They are:

  • Lay’s Argentinian Asado/Steak: A beef-flavored option that captures the taste of charred asado. Available in Argentina, Belgium, Bulgaria, China, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Egypt, El Salvador, Estonia, Germany, Guatemala, Honduras, Iraq, Jamaica, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Panama, Poland, Puerto Rico, Romania, and the United States.
  • Lay’s Canadian Maple Caramel: A slightly unexpected sweet flavor here from Lay’s, mixing maple syrup with caramel. This one will be available in Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Singapore.
  • Lay’s English Bangers and Mash: A chip flavor that will presumably taste like sausage and potatoes. Available in the United Kingdom (let’s goooo) and Spain.
  • Lay’s Mexican Tacos: Chiles, spices, and smokiness all come together in a celebration of Mexican street food. These are available in Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica, Panama, Peru, and Puerto Rico.
  • Lay’s Portuguese Chorizo and Onion: A flavor that combines smoky chorizo and sweet onion, which will be available in Portugal, France, Spain, and the United Kingdom.

These are adding to, of course, the previous flavors that we’ve discussed on this here website, including Polish Kielbasa, Nashville Hot Chicken, Camembert, and Italian Pizza Margherita.

When Can I Get My Hands On These?

Well, obviously, you’ll have to be in a country that’s selling them – but these new flavors should be available at local retailers in each market from April onward. Which means…now. So get hunting!
