We see you, Lindt. We see what you’ve been doing with Dubai chocolate, and we’re into it. The chocolate producer has been making Dubai-style and Dubai-style-adjacent chocolate products for a minute now, and is slightly ahead of the curve compared to the more recent adopters of this trend. Last year, we reviewed its Dubai-Style Chocolate Bar, which we were fans of, and we’ve since discussed its Dubai chocolate eggs and pistachio truffles (which aren’t strictly Dubai-style, we have to say, but they’re in the same ballpark of nutty, chocolatey flavors).

Now, it’s decided to step things up a notch. It’s dropping a new Dubai-Style Chocolate Bar, made with white chocolate, in the US. This one feels exciting. Here’s what we know.

Lindt Dubai Style White Chocolate: Our Prayers Have Been Answered

Lindt’s creation is, according to its website, crafted by the Lindt Master Chocolatier (which is actually a team of chocolatiers based around the world). “This exquisite chocolate candy creation features the finest Lindt chocolate, filled with a rich and creamy pistachio filling, boasting 45% pistachio for an unparalleled flavor experience,” says Lindt. Then, you’ve got a combination of kadayif threads and almond brittle mixed into the pistachio cream.

We should point out, of course, that this isn’t a particularly traditional take on Dubai-style chocolate. There’s no milk chocolate, and the almond brittle is definitely a new touch. However, we’re tentatively looking forward to trying it. Yes, we predict it’ll be very sweet, but white chocolate and nuts are an underrated combo, and when you throw in some crunchy pastry threads…we’re sold.

When Can I Get It?

You can get it right now, but be warned: It’s gonna cost you a fair bit. On the Lindt website, it’s currently listed as $14.99 per 5.3-ounce bar. Yikes! It looks as though it’s going to be the same (if not a similar) price in stores, too. People who have spotted it in the wild at Target have also shown that it’s priced at $14.99.

It does seem like it won’t let you down, though, even if it’s hard to justify paying that much for a single bar. This white chocolate spin has been available on the Lindt UK website for a minute (although I’ve never actually seen it in stores over here), and the response so far has been broadly positive. Some have said that it’s a touch too sweet, but broadly, people are fans, with some even saying that it’s better than the original milk chocolate version. Now, if anyone at Lindt wants to gift us a bar so we can review it here without having to shell out the $14.99, we’re all ears. Hint, hint.
