Last year we shared news of a new Mountain Dew flavor that was set to release this year exclusively at Little Caesars: Mountain Dew Mango Rush. As the release approaches, we’ve got more details on what to expect from the new Mountain Dew flavor—including when to expect it.
What is the flavor of Mountain Dew Mango Rush?
Our initial speculations have proven to be correct. Mango Rush is a “Sweet Mango Heat” flavor of Mountain Dew. While this isn’t Mountain Dew’s first spicy mango flavored rodeo (see also, 2016’s Game Fuel Mango Heat), we expect this one will stand out as its own flavor as Mango Heat was made with both full sugar and artificial sweeteners and Mango Rush will only include sugar.
When will new Mountain Dew Mango Rush be released?
Thanks to an update shared by Super Soda Investigator Team Supernova, we now know that new Mountain Dew Mango Rush has a release date of May 5th. It’s worth noting that an official release date is pretty unusual when it comes to sodas. Typically, you might find a new product a little bit before or after a release date. In Mango Rush’s case however, Little Caesars is explicitly asking their locations not to sell Mango Rush prior to May 5th. So, although deliveries are starting already, chances are you won’t be able to find it before then!
Our sources also tell us that each location is getting just 38 cases of 12 16-ounce cans of Mango Rush (to be sold individually). And, once they run out, there will not be a restock. So make sure you mark May 5th on your calendar and get ready to run in and grab your fill of Mango Rush if it sounds like your cup of tea (or, more appropriately, your pint of Dew).
they should release it so more can try it like send to kroger
It would have been a good idea if they released this during the winter instead of late spring early summer if it is in fact a “spicy” mango. What they should have done was have different variants being spicy and non-spicy. There was a flaming hot mountain dew that didn’t really do so well.. there are many people who don’t believe that spicy drinks should even exist. Maybe they’ll do like they did with the Taco Bell limited release which was the Baja Blast. Let everybody buy them up under the pretense that it is only a limited release and then make it a permanent flavor. Those drinks are going to sell out within one day guaranteed regardless if the people like them or not it is a limited release and a lot of people collect mountain dew
