Forget the pretense of love, romantic or otherwise, we all know that Valentine’s Day is really just an excuse for brands to release red or pink products and for us to have an excuse to eat said red or pink products. One brand embracing that reason for the season? Oreo, which is releasing not one but two limited edition Valentine’s Day cookie boxes. What’s in ‘em? Grab a glass of milk and keep reading.

Instead of a dozen red roses, Oreo suggests you buy your lover a dozen Oreos. But these aren’t just any old Oreos. This is a mix of either chocolate fudge- or white fudge-dipped Oreos that have either been drizzled with icing or sprinkled with, well, sprinkles. Some feature heart decorations while others sport messages like “I Love You” or “XOXO.” The packaging features a pink band that says “Be Mine.” (There’s also a Galentine’s Day version.)

If that pink-heavy box isn’t to your liking, try the Red Box instead. You get most of the same cookies that you get in the first box as well as an Oreo decorated with a heart-emblazoned postage stamp. These Oreos come in a red box stamped with a gold Oreo logo.

You can get both of these limited edition Oreo boxes on Oreo.com for $39.99 each. If you’re a true Oreo completionist, you’ll get both.

Hi! I’m the editor-in-chief of Sporked. I will never turn down a fresh-shucked oyster but I’ll also leap at whatever new product Reese’s releases and I love a Tostitos Hint of Lime, even if there is no actual lime in the ingredients. Why you should trust me: I have been writing about food and beverages for well over a decade and am an avid at-home cook and snacker. I began my career writing about fine dining and recipes, moved into cocktails and spirits, and now I talk about groceries. If you can eat it or drink it, I’ve probably written about it. What I buy every week: Trader Joe’s dried okra. Appleton Farms prosciutto from Aldi. Some sort of Trader Joe’s cheese (I’m into the aged gouda at the moment). Frozen waffles (usually the Eggo Cinnamon Toast Minis). Spindrift water (loving the Cosmopolitan right now). Favorite ranking: Smoked salmon. Imagine me as Scrooge McDuck but instead of coins I’m diving into a vault of slippery smoked salmon slices. Pure joy. I also found some real steals in that taste test! Least favorite ranking: Canned oysters. I had such high hopes for this but it quickly became a chore. The kitchen smelled like an uncleaned aquarium.
