With spring barreling towards us, we’re so excited for long walks in nature. By “nature” we mean the Trader Joe’s parking lot. And by “long” we mean however long it takes to walk from our car to the store. Whether you’re hosting a March Madness party, locking yourself in your homes and avoiding all drunken antics on St. Patrick’s Day, or packing up a picnic to celebrate the warm weather, Trader Joe’s has a March treat for every occasion. We took a stroll through our local TJ’s and found some new Trader Joe’s products we’re psyched to try. Here’s what’s on our Trader Joe’s shopping list this March.
- Shrimp Noodle Rolls

Here’s what we’re hoping for in this new frozen Trader Joe’s item: bright, fresh flavors, tender noodles, and plump shrimp. Forget about wrapping yourself in that heavy winter blanket, and think about wrapping shrimp and vegetables in dim sum style noodles. Come to think of it, wrapping ourselves in dim sum style noodles doesn’t sound half bad. They’re only available for a limited time so stock up if that sounds like your thing.
- Blood Orange Mochi

When we say we’re out for blood, we usually mean “blood orange.” Unless someone merged without using their blinker, then we’re seeing red all day. But these new Trader Joe’s mochi ice cream treats seem like they’re worth braving the drive to TJ’s. They’re made with real blood orange juice concentrate—a great vegan alternative for vampires.
- Chicken Chile Verde Burritos

March is all about green, so how appropriate that these burritos feature chile verde. The recipe includes a mixture of dark and white meat chicken to appease anybody with a poultry preference, and is only two and a half minutes of microwave action from being ready to comfort the crap out of you. These are some of our favorite frozen foods at Trader Joe’s, so we’re extremely excited to see them make their triumphant return.

Some people are dreamers. Some people are inventors. Some people are grazers. From the intersection of all of these, these tiny meringues are born. For anyone who’s ever wanted to eat 40 of something and still have it be one serving, your prayer has been answered. These adorable, pop-em-in-your-mouth-able little treats are light and crispy but full of sweet, nutty flavor. This combination of sugar, hazelnuts, and egg white might just dethrone The Jonas Brothers as tastiest trio.

“I only eat watermelon so that I can have juice drip down my forearm and into the crease of my elbow,” said nobody ever. Watermelon is so quintessentially refreshing but so frustratingly inconvenient to eat. Thanks to this new Trader Joe’s product, you can get the flavor of watermelon without having to awkwardly knock on melons in the grocery store (get your mind out of the gutter), heft a 20-pound sphere home, or play refrigerator Jenga with the remaining 19 pounds of watermelon leftover after snacktime. Bottom line, these crispy, concentrated triangles of dried watermelon seem like real gamechangers.
