Noodles & Company Just Added A Brand New Pasta To Its Fall Menu

There are few things more comforting than a plate of baked pasta covered in melted cheese, and Noodles & Company apparently agrees. The chain just added a new Baked Cheese Tortelloni to its menu, giving us another excuse to embrace the carb-heavy side of fall.

Meet The New Baked Cheese Tortelloni

The limited-time entrée features cheese-filled tortelloni layered with rich marinara, mozzarella, and Italian herbs, then baked until it’s golden, bubbling, and perfectly browned.

To sum it up, it’s taking everything you want from a cozy baked pasta dish and putting it on one plate. The tortelloni brings the cheese, the marinara brings the sauce, and the melted mozzarella on top is there to make sure you get that obligatory cheese pull.

Noodles & Company says the dish is prepared fresh to order and finished in the oven, so it delivers the fresh-from-the-oven experience without the prep or cleanup that comes with making baked pasta at home. Which is particularly convenient when you remember that fall also means back-to-school season.

Noodles & Company is launching the new entrée as families settle back into their usual school-year routines, when figuring out what’s for dinner can somehow become a daily logistical exercise.

The chain’s new research found that nearly two-thirds of parents say family meals provide valuable quality time together, while almost as many say meal planning, grocery shopping, and cooking contribute to their daily mental load during back-to-school season. And 66% say they miss being able to enjoy a relaxing meal, often spending dinner mentally working through their to-do lists instead.

So, naturally, Noodles & Company has decided the solution is more baked pasta.

I’m not saying it’s going to solve anyone’s family scheduling problems, but a hot plate of cheesy tortelloni that you didn’t have to cook yourself certainly can’t hurt. The new dish is positioned as an easy option for those nights when you’re bouncing between school pickups, after-school activities, work, and everything else that somehow needs to happen before bedtime.
