Pros: You’ve heard “just like grandma used to make” as a tagline before, but this cake is literally just like my grandma’s banana pudding–in no small part because of the “cherry” on top. I’ll give Nothing Bundt Cakes tons of credit for using legit mini Nilla wafers to top this cake and licensing the name as a selling point. Real banana pudding fans know Nilla is a difference maker.
As for the cake itself, there’s none of that fake Laffy Taffy Banana Candy flavor here. Nothing Bundt Cakes’ Banana Pudding Cake is banana as hell, thanks to the inclusion of real banana puree in the cake itself. The vanilla pudding core further convinces you that you’re enjoying a ladleful of the classic dessert that inspired this cake.
Cons: Folks, I have no complaints. While I won’t proclaim Nothing Bundt Cakes‘ Banana Pudding cake is objectively better than last year’s chart-topping Reese’s-Oreo Triple Treat cake, it absolutely tops my personal ranking thanks to my unending nostalgia for banana pudding. (Love you, grandma.)

How do I get Nothing Bundt Cakes’ Banana Pudding bundt cake for myself?
Unlike their recent Dubai Chocolate offering, Nothing Bundt Cakes’ Banana Pudding cake will be widely available for plenty of time. This spring treat will be available at all N.B.C. bakeries now through April 12. If you’re catering any events in the next six weeks, this cakery has you covered there too; Banana Pudding is available in every size offered by Nothing Bundt Cakes. Whether you need a full-sized Bundt Cake for a family reunion, a dozen Bundtinis for a work party, or a Bundtlet all to yourself, it’s just a click away. I have a feeling I’ll be going back for seconds before April 12.
