Left-field lip balms are in. Well, we think so, at least. This year, we’ve seen a bunch of new lip balms made with interesting food flavors either hit the market or be hinted at for future release. Strangely enough, a lot of these have erred on the sour side: Back in February, e.l.f dropped a dill pickle lip balm, and this was shortly followed by a rumor that Grillo’s Pickles and Burt’s Bees had teamed up to make a lip balm of their own, which they subsequently brought out.

So, for everyone who enjoys their lip balms just a bit sweeter and less pickle-y, but still feeling unique, we’ve got some good news for ya. Olipop is bringing out four new lip balms, each in one of its most popular flavors. Here’s what you need to know.
Olipop x Spacecamp Lip Balms
Olipop has teamed up with social media beauty titans Space Camp Wellness to create these new lip balms, which, according to its press release, will hopefully evoke the same sense of nostalgia as Dr Pepper Lip Smackers. Judging by the flavors that the brands have gone for, we’d say that’s not a huge stretch.
Those flavors are Cream Soda, Vintage Cola, Shirley Temple, and Crisp Apple. Talk about a throwback fest, huh? To be honest, all of them sound slightly more appealing to have on your lips on a daily basis than something that tastes like pickles, interesting as that would be. We’re particularly excited about the Crisp Apple, given that it achieved third place in our taste test of the best Olipop flavors.
When Are They Out? Where Can I Get Them?
Well, the good news is that they’re out today, people! Olipop x Spacecamp’s lip balms dropped on May 14, so they’re available immediately. As for where you can find them, you can purchase them on the Space Camp Wellness website or in Target.
These new lip balms are just the next move from Olipop, which has had a busy 2026. Most recently (as in, like, last week), it brought out a pair of new flavors, Blackberry Vanilla and Raspberry Sherbet. We’ve tried both of them, and while the Raspberry Sherbet was tasty enough, it was the Blackberry Vanilla that really caught our eye – er, we mean tastebuds. Both are available now.
