We’re no stranger to Fly By Jing’s chili crisp noodles and sweet & spicy noodles. If anything, you could call us fans―which has made life for us a little difficult because they’re not exactly the easiest to find. Selfishly, I mostly just mean that they’re not in my local grocery store. But that’s still a pain! Luckily, it just got a lot easier to find Fly By Jing’s noodles because they just expanded into Walmart!

900+ Walmart Stores Nationwide
900 is a lot of Walmarts. I’m not exactly sure if that’s every Walmart in the country but surely it’s gotta cover my local Walmart. Right? I guess there’s only one way to find out. BRB, hopping in my car now. They’re already in stores now so there’s no time to waste!
A Little Refresher If You Need It
It’s worth reminding everyone what Fly By Jing’s noodles are about. Both the chili crisp and sweet & spicy noodles are sun-dried and knife-cut for the perfect chew, then fermented using a process similar to sourdough. With 12 grams of protein per serving, these noodles deliver a quick, flavor-forward meal that transports you to Sichuan in under 6 minutes.
Fly By Jing’s Chili Crisp Noodles
The chili crisp noodles are, you guessed it, paired with FBJ’s signature Sichuan chili crisp. Each serving comes with three sauce packets—a shallot sauce packet, soy sauce and black vinegar packet, and Sichuan chili crisp sauce packet—plus an additional seasoning packet of dried chives. Let’s just say they don’t shy away from flavor!
In our initial review of the chili crisp noodles, we found them to be some of the most flavorful and unique instant noodles we’ve ever had. The ingredients are fresh and whole, with real bits of fermented black beans, garlic, chopped shallots, and chili crisp. You just don’t see that anywhere else!
Fly By Jing’s Sweet & Spicy Noodles
FBJ’s sweet & spicy noodles were nearly just as favorable by the Sporked team (they only landed half a spork behind the OG). It’s not surprising considering they share the same squiggly, knife-cut noodles that we absolutely adore. The sauce that coats the noodles is incredibly spicy, which is a big plus for heat freaks. Which I am decidedly not so I’ll be taking a note from Sporked’s Ariana Losch here and adding in a squirt of Kewpie mayo to cool things down.
