Panera Just Brought Back Two Fan-Favorites (For Now)

As someone who goes to Panera several times a month (you can’t stop me from getting a You Pick Two with a soup and salad after a long day), I’m always looking for new menu additions to try out. I won’t lie, I’m not the biggest seafood person, but I am a sucker for a solid lobster roll. And lobster is now back at Panera for a limited time.

Panera brings back two lobster fan-favorites on its seasonal summer menu

To mark the unofficial start of summer, Panera has brought back its signature lobster roll and lobster mac and cheese. If you’re a fan of Panera’s mac and cheese like myself, then you’ll enjoy the mouthwatering, velvety-smooth Vermont white cheddar macaroni and cheese topped with buttered claw and knuckle lobster meat and seasoned panko bread crumbs. The best part? It’s only $12.99 plus tax. It’s actually a pretty good deal compared to traditional lobster mac and cheese you’d find at a restaurant that typically costs $20+. 

If you’re looking for something more traditional, then the lobster roll will be your new go-to. It has lobster claw and knuckle meat, tossed in a lemon tarragon mayonnaise-based dressing, piled high into a New England roll. That said, it does come with a hefty price tag — it’s $23.99 plus tax. This is definitely more of a splurge item, but heck if you want one every week, then treat yourself. Joy is fleeting and lobster rolls are seasonal.

Where to get Panera’s lobster roll and lobster mac and cheese? 

Panera’s lobster roll and lobster mac and cheese will only be available at select locations throughout the northeast. If you don’t live in the area, then you could make a road trip as I’d say it’s quite worth it. Don’t live in the northeast? You could just head over to your local Panera to chow down on the brand’s more recent salad stuffers which are a permanent addition to its menu as of early April.
