Plot Twist: This Easter, the Peeps Are Being Milked

Every year Peeps milks Easter more than any other brand. And hey, I don’t fault them for it. If my main exports (in this thought experiment Peeps is a country) were pastel chicks and bunnies made out of marshmallow, I too would milk the one major holiday that happens to be all about pastel colors, itty-bitty baby things, and sweet treats. It just makes sense. But this year, oh how the turn tables: Easter is milking Peeps for a change. Or rather Promised Land Dairy is…literally. Okay, I will stop dancing around it and just tell you that 2025 is the year we finally get Peeps milk.

So what flavor is Peeps milk actually (there are like 200,000 Peeps flavors so it could be anything)? What color is it? A classic Peeps pastel? A classic marshmallow white? Wait, that last one is just milk?

It was only a matter of time. Strawberry milk exists, cotton candy milk has been a thing for a while—so, chick-shaped-marshmallow milk naturally follows. It’s the circle of life, baybee. And yes, we can confirm the flavor of the milk is “sweet marshmallow” so we are anticipating that sweet, sweet (literally) flavor of pure Peep straight to the dome. The color remains a mystery—we will just have to buy it to find out, but seeing as how the packaging is yellow, my money is on pale yellow. Peeps described this collab as “a delicious, limited-time offering that delivers Easter delight straight from the cow.” Really? What cows are you milking Peeps? And where can I get one? The Promised Land, perchance? I have beans to trade!

Jokes aside, I am intrigued by this stuff. Promised Land Dairy makes a bunch of different flavored milks, so this is not their first milk treat rodeo, plus imagine how good this would be in a mocha with some graham crackers on the side—s’mores central, right there. This Peeps milk is available in stores now through April 20 while supplies last and you bet your butt we will be peeping the milk aisle to try and find it ASAP.
