Pepsi fans who want to enjoy a cold cola late at night without worrying about sugar or caffeine have something new to look forward to in 2027. Pepsi Zero Sugar Zero Caffeine is reportedly joining the brand’s lineup in February.

As you probably already know, Pepsi already offers drinks without sugar and others without caffeine. The upcoming release skips both ingredients in one can, giving fans another option when regular Pepsi or Pepsi Zero Sugar doesn’t quite fit the occasion.
How Is It Different From Pepsi Zero Sugar?
Pepsi Zero Sugar Zero Caffeine is expected to launch in February 2027. The reported packaging is a 12-pack of 12-ounce cans, and the soda appears to be planned as a permanent addition to Pepsi’s lineup.
The big question on your mind is: how is Pepsi Zero Sugar Zero Caffeine different from the regular Pepsi Zero Sugar? Well, the regular Pepsi Zero Sugar contains no sugar or calories, but it does contain caffeine, while the upcoming version is expected to remove caffeine from the equation.
The new Pepsi could also appeal to people who are cutting back on sugar, but don’t want to give up the taste of cola. Instead of choosing between a sugar-free drink that contains caffeine and a caffeine-free drink that contains sugar, they’ll have another option to consider.
Pepsi has not yet provided an official ingredient list for the new product, but I suspect it will use aspartame as a substitute for sugar, as most Zero Sugar drinks do.
Pepsi Already Has Caffeine-Free Options, So Why Launch Another?
Pepsi already has caffeine-free options, including Pepsi Caffeine Free and Diet Pepsi Caffeine Free. Regular Pepsi Caffeine Free doesn’t have caffeine but still contains sugar. Diet Pepsi Caffeine Free has neither sugar nor caffeine, making it an existing option for people who want to avoid both.
So why does Pepsi need another drink with the same basic features? I think the answer comes down to taste.
Different Pepsi products have different formulas, and fans can be surprisingly particular about which one they prefer. Someone who loves Pepsi Zero Sugar might not find Diet Pepsi an equally satisfying replacement, even though both drinks have no sugar.
The new Pepsi could fill that gap by offering a caffeine-free version aimed at people who prefer the Pepsi Zero Sugar flavor profile.
Coming In February 2027
This new Pepsi isn’t coming with an outrageous flavor combination or an unusual ingredient that will have soda fans scratching their heads.
If the reported February 2027 launch goes ahead, Pepsi Zero Sugar Zero Caffeine could be a welcome addition for people who want their cola without the sugar or caffeine.
