Prince St. Pizza Is Celebrating E-Day With This Gears of War Pizza

I’m all over it. This time we’ve got a limited pizza and prizes from Prince St. Pizza in collaboration with Gears of War.

Emergence Day And Pizza

A little history, Gears of War is a game franchise that is set in the fictional world of Sera and deals with humanity’s struggle against an underground hoard called Locusts. E-Day is well known in the Gears world as Emergence Day―the day the Locusts launched a full scale surface attack against humanity. It is the setting of the newest installment of the franchise. 

So to honor the release of the new game, Prince St. Pizza has created a limited time pie called the Emergence Pie. This pie is a Sicilian-style offering made with spicy vodka sauce, fresh mozzarella, ground pepperoni and sausage, finished with the new Carbone Fine Food Aglio e Peperoncino Italian Chili Crisp. This pizza sounds like a fun spin on a classic pie with a few modern twists. I would definitely be excited to try (if there was one near me).

But the pizza rewards don’t stop there. Fans who purchase the pizza will also receive a card with a code redeemable in game for an exclusive pizza emblem. Be the envy of your team with one you can only get through this collab. 

Prince St. Pizza wasn’t content to stop at just offering a special pizza and redeemable code, they’ve got some other goodies to give away. Loyalty members have the chance to win 1 of 100 copies of the game. The only way to enter is to be a loyalty member and order the full Emergence pie. A possible free game with your pizza? Hey, there’s no downside there. There will also be limited edition merch such as a pizza cutter in the shape of the games’ signature weapon, the lancer. 

Now the only downside here? Prince St. Pizza is a fairly limited pizza chain, selling mainly in select big cities. So if you live near one? Great news for you. If you don’t, well then you might be a little out of luck on the special pizza unless you’re close enough to make a day trip about it. Otherwise, you may be limited to just the pizza cutter, which does look very cool.
