Aptly, it’s called the “Once in a Blue Moon” Moon Pie

Moon Pie’s most elusive flavor, blueberry, has found its way back to Dollar Tree. We first spotted them two years ago and, true to their name, they’re just now making a return. This version of the Moon Pie features a blueberry and white chocolate coating. I know there are some white chocolate haters out there but these are worth the hype.

While some people can’t get past the somewhat alarming appearance of the blue Moon Pie coating, others love their unique sweetness. One Redditor said the flavor is akin to Fruity Pebbles.

Dollar Tree’s version is small but mighty

The Once in a Blue Moon Moon Pies you’ll find at Dollar Tree are smaller than regular Moon Pies. That just means they’re conveniently bite sized, which, as we all know, is the most satisfying way to snack. It also means you get a heck of a deal on them.
