We’re still dealing with major fallout from the California Dairies recall amongst their powdered milk and buttermilk. There’s also a set of foreign objects found in food at Publix and Aldi. California Dairies Powdered Milk – Salmonella
More connections have been made to California Dairies recalled powdered milk and buttermilk that was linked to a salmonella outbreak. Some of the affected products include: Williams Sonoma Fireworks Popcorn white cheddar seasoning, Stoltzfus Family Dairy sour cream and onion cheese curds, Wildlife Seasoning flavored popcorn seasoning, Giant Eagle baked pita chips with parmesan, garlic and herbs, Fisher, Southern Style Nuts, Squirrel Brand, Good & Gather snack mixes, Pork King Good pork rinds and seasoning bottles, Zapp’s and Dirty potato chips, and Ghirardelli powdered beverage mixes.
Publix Bran Cereal – Plastic
Post Cereal has recalled 13,000 boxes of Publix branded Bran Flakes cereal. This was due to a potential presence of plastic in the cereal. Affected boxes were sold in stores in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina. They can be identified by the lot code OCT0526RBA.
Aldi Vanilla Crème Brûlée – Glass
Aldi’s Specially Selected Vanilla Crème Brûlée is packaged in glass and has been recalled due to the potential presence of glass found inside the dessert. Contaminated products can be identified with product number 710298-4099100342826 and barcode number 4099100342826, with a Best Before date of May 9, 2026. Shoppers in Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, New York, and Virginia should check their crème brûlée bought in Aldi.
Giovanni Rana’s Rustic Beef Sauce & Creamy Burrata Cheese Ravioli – Shellfish
Specifically sold at Costco, Giovanni Rana’s Rustic Beef Sauce & Creamy Burrata Cheese Ravioli has been recalled due to misbranding. The product failed to identify an allergen warning for shellfish. While the product hasn’t been sold at Costco recently, it may still be in your freezer. It can be identified by establishment number Est. 44870 and Best Before dates between May 14 and June 25, 2026.
