Some people track the seasons by the months. We prefer to use a different, tastier calendar: Red Bull’s seasonal releases. Ever since 2019, we’ve seen the release of Spring, Summer, and Winter Edition Red Bull flavors. And they really have run the gamut. With the 2025 Red Bull Winter Edition on its way, we thought we would celebrate by running down all the Winter Edition flavors Red Bull has ever released. Stay tuned to find out which Red Bull Winter Editions we think were more Lose-ters than Win-ters.

2016-2019 Red Bull Winter Edition: Plum Twist

Red Bull introduced this as the first-ever Red Bull Winter Edition, which reappeared every winter until 2019. It supposedly tasted like plum and other stone fruits, and if Reddit can be trusted (which…), Plum Twist was so good that one person said they would “give up a kidney” for this to be a permanent flavor while someone else called it the “nectar of the gods.” Oh, Reddit. What are we going to do with you?

2019 Red Bull Winter Edition: Holiday Spice

Wow, what’s this? It’s the first-ever one-season-only Winter Edition Red Bull, of course! This one surprised everyone by being actually good. From the orange can and the name “Holiday Spice,” people were expecting a sickly-sweet pumpkin spice soda situation, but it was actually cherry flavored with a hint of warm spices like cinnamon. People were, largely, pleasantly surprised, and thought this Red Bull Winter Edition tasted like black cherry, or Cherry Coke.

2020 Red Bull Winter Edition: Arctic Berry

This one has some absolutely die hard fans on the internet calling it “the best I’ve ever had in my life” and also some haters calling it “damn terrible tasting,” but, as my mom always says, not everyone is going to like you or Red Bull Winter Editions. This one tasted like a blue raspberry Jolly Rancher to some, raspberry Altoids to others, and the gist was that this was raspberry flavored with a menthol-like cooling sensation.

2021 Red Bull Winter Edition: Pomegranate

I could not find a single negative comment about this Winter Edition Red Bull, other than that it was gone too soon. People liked the deep and refreshing pomegranate flavor, and multiple fans said that they “think about this Red Bull every single day,” which is crazy to me because I struggle to think about anything at all sometimes. That said, there are rumors this might at some point come back as some sort of “Festive Edition” Pomegranate flavor.

2022 Red Bull Winter Edition: Fig Apple

The whole conversation I found online about Fig Apple Red Bull Winter Edition was essentially, “Where can I buy more of this stuff?!” People liked this one for its cozy, wintry vibes and its simple mix of flavors.

2023 Red Bull Winter Edition: Pear Cinnamon

Upon seeing this Red Bull flavor, I immediately wondered if it tasted like that one time my mom’s friend made poached pears in the dishwasher. Yes, it worked, and yes, that woman was and is living in 2025. But I digress. Folks like this one a lot, and they thought it tasted like canned pears in a good way.

2024 Red Bull Winter Edition: Iced Vanilla Berry

Iced Iced (vanilla) Berry. Doo doo doo doodoodoodoo. Get it? Like the song? This one was a hit (we gave it top marks in our review). In other countries, it was called “Iced Cotton Candy” or “Iced Gummy Bear” instead of iced vanilla berry, and our taste tester Griffin Parker thought those names were more accurate since this tasted like that one opaque light blue Scooby Doo gummy (you all know the one) that used to come in the fruit snack packs. What an S-tier flavor that absolutely did not taste like the blueberry and vanilla combo it purported to taste like.

2025 Red Bull Winter Edition: Fuji Apple Ginger

That brings us to this year. The Fuji Apple Ginger Red Bull Winter Edition has the capacity to turn this year around as long as it tastes like fresh, crisp apple flavor mixed with bubbly ginger ale. Essentially, if Red Bull goes full Martinelli’s on us, we may just have to reevaluate exactly how good/bad we thought this year shooketh out to be. But only time will tell, because one thing about Winter Edition Red Bull? It comes out in winter. And we are just now starting fall. So stay tuned for our review, and until then, hope this article gave you wiiings! Or at least, you know, some info about the history of Red Bull Winter Edition, whatever feels truer to you.
