Which Red Bull Flavor Will Give You Wiiings, According to Your Zodiac Sign

Everyone knows that Red Bull gives you wiiings, but what they may not know is that there are a lot of flavors of that wiiing-giving, bull-themed,urine-colored caffeinated concoction. These flavors change with the seasons (because Red Bull is just bougie like that), but on average there are about 12 flavors at any given time. You know what else there are 12 of? Zodiac signs. Aries (March 21-April 19): Red Bull Sugarfree

Here’s the thing: Not everyone wants to drink a full-sugar energy drink, but most people won’t say no to a sugar-free version that tastes pretty darn good and has just as much caffeine. Similarly, Aries people have an innate competitive energy and love being number one, but also manage to be pretty universally appreciated by extroverts and introverts alike. Plus, according to this super reputable poll website, the public ranks Red Bull Sugarfree up there with the top Red Bull flavors—and that makes this flavor very Aries.

Taurus (April 20-May 20): Red Bull Red Edition Watermelon

Technically, all Red Bull matches the Taurus vibe since it contains Taurine and that word sounds like Taurus. But since I had to choose one flavor for each matchup (they don’t pay for me to make one blanket taurine pun and call it a day, apparently), I think watermelon fits the Taurus vibe. Tauruses are chill, calming, and sweet, but also (much like a watermelon) it can be hard to get them to open up. (Side note: why is cutting a watermelon still so dang difficult?! I am a grown-up now with a real adult job and prepping this fruit baffles me to this day.)

Gemini (May 21-June 20): Red Bull Coconut Edition Coconut Berry

Coconut and berry? As a combo? Seems a bit wacky and out of left field, right? Wrong. They may be super different flavors but they go together surprisingly well. Ever have an açai bowl, my guy? Geminis have to be this flavor because they are known for having two distinct sides to their personality that combine to create one chaotic, adventurous, quirky person who is a whole lot more than the sum of their parts.

Cancer (June 21-July 22): Red Bull Green Edition Dragon Fruit

Dragonfruit’s whole deal is that you can’t judge it by its appearance—and the same goes for Cancers. Dragonfruits sound terrifying and fire-breathy, and then when you actually see them they are spiky and intimidating and some of them are even neon pink inside. You’d think they would smack you in the face with flavor, right? False, friendo. They taste subtly sweet and a bit like watermelon. This is similar to Cancers, who are extremely intriguing and emotionally intelligent people once you get to know them, but at first, you may just assume they are just a bit bored or shy or spiky or fire-breathy or bright pink. This one feels pretty 1:1 to me.

Leo (July 23-August 22): Original Red Bull Energy Drink

Leos do, in fact, think of themselves as very original, and while we all know they love attention, we also know they have big hearts. That said, to me Original Red Bull tastes like cherry Fun Dip, and growing up I only ever got that on Valentine’s Day, the day of big hearts.

Virgo (August 23-September 22): Red Bull Zero

Virgos have zero time for your B.S. They are simply too busy. Thus, they have to be the Red Bull flavor that literally says “Bull Zero” in the name.

Libra (September 23-October 22): Red Bull Amber Edition Strawberry Apricot

Libras love a nice balanced situation, whether we’re talking about flavors in their Red Bull or personalities in their friend group, and this Red Bull flavor seems like the perfect balance of fruity flavor, tang, and sweetness. On top of that, Libras are among the coziest of the signs and there are few things more cozy than jam. This Red Bull flavor immediately made me think of jam. Why? I don’t know but I already said it, so now we are going with it.

Scorpio (October 23-November 21): Sea Blue Edition Juneberry

What are Juneberries? Where did they come from? Where did they go? They leave me with more questions than Cotton-Eye Joe. And for that reason, this has to be the Red Bull flavor for Scorpios—the most mysterious of the signs. If you (like me) were wondering what a Juneberry is, it apparently tastes like “dark cherries, blueberries, apples, and raisins, with a finish of almonds,” according to this British website that sells books about gardening, and they also go by many other names, including serviceberries, sugarplums, and, perhaps the best name for anything ever, chuckley pears.

Sagittarius (November 22-December 21): Red Bull Summer Edition Curuba Elderflower

You may not have heard of a curuba before today (I certainly hadn’t), but if anyone has, it is our knowledge- and adventure-seeking Sagittarian friends. I would bet they’ve either gone down a fruit-curiosity rabbit hole online and at some point found these, or they have simply been to South America, where these passionfruity/peachy fruits come from. Sagittarians are also probably curious about what the combo of elderflower and curuba tastes like, so this curious flavor feels like a good fit for the curious types.

Capricorn (December 22-January 19): Red Bull Blue Edition Blueberry

I feel like Capricorns are mature and have old souls, and blueberries seem like the most ~classic~ of the Red Bull flavors this year. Plus, Capricorns are ambitious and persistent, and blueberries are the most ambitious and persistent of the fruits seeing as I am always ambitiously buying too many of them to eat before they go bad and then persistently doing that again and again and never learning anything from it.

Aquarius (January 20-February 18): Red Bull Peach Edition Peach-Nectarine

Putting two things that taste the same together and calling it a new flavor? Leave it to creative Aquarians to come up with that elaborate ruse.

Pisces (February 19-March 20): Red Bull Yellow Edition Tropical

Pisces is the most romantic and whimsical of the signs, and there are few things more romantic or whimsical than tropical vacations and fruits. Not only that, but tropical fruits tend to be on the floral and sweet side, and Pisces partners are always being sweet and buying you flowers, so this matchup makes a lot of sense to me.
