Besides the cult following for its Cheddar Bay Biscuits (which you can make at home, thanks to its seriously good boxed mix), Red Lobster has drawn in new diners with its annual lobster celebration. For its 2026 edition, the restaurant chain is aiming to top 2025’s ‘fest by adding four new dishes. Let’s break ’em down.
Lobster Pasta au Gratin
The Lobster Pasta au Gratin features Maine and langostino lobster, tossed with cavatappi pasta in a creamy lobster cheese sauce. If that doesn’t sound heavenly enough, it’s also topped with mozzarella and baked till it’s golden brown, defying all those who dare to say seafood and cheese don’t belong together.
Crispy Dragon Teriyaki Lobster
Presumably similar to the restaurant’s Crispy Dragon Shrimp, this new menu item features tempura-esque fried lobster spilling out of a lobster tail shell, drizzled with a spicy-sweet teriyaki sauce. The folks over at Chowhound had good things to say about it.
Lobsterfest Duo
The Lobsterfest Duo is making its big comeback after an 18-year absence. You get grilled, split Maine lobster tail halves wrapped around scallops, alongside a roasted Maine lobster tail and two sides of your choosing.
Lobsterfest Boil
Red Lobster’s version of the seafood boil went viral on TikTok a couple of years ago. It includes Maine lobster tails, a dozen shrimp, corn, and red potatoes. The dish is served tableside in a shake-and-serve bag, allowing diners to choose the flavor and spice level.
What else is on this year’s Lobsterfest menu?
In addition to the new lobster-based dishes, Red Lobster is also introducing three cocktails for Lobsterfest: The Lobstar, Shoreline Spritz, and Dockside Sipper.
The Lobstar is a triple-citrus Margarita made with Hennessy VS and Grand Marnier, which includes a claw shaker you can take home as a souvenir. The Shoreline Spritz is a Spritz made with Grey Goose, St-Germain Elderflower, Wycliff Sparkling Wine, citrus, and mint, while the Dockside Sipper is a tequila-based cocktail prepared with Casamigos Reposado, fresh lime, honey, and grenadine.
Red Lobster hasn’t announced the end date for its Lobsterfest. However, last year’s ran from February until April, so with this one starting earlier (it launched on January 19), we can expect it to run through at least March.
