Shake Shack’s Black Truffle Menu Is Back With New Items

New menu items are popping up everywhere, and over at Shake Shack, they’re not just settling for a couple new additions. The chain is bringing back a fan favorite menu for the season — and no, it’s not pimento cheese. Black Truffle is here again, and we’re ready to place our order.

Shake Shack’s Black Truffle Menu Is Better (and Bigger) Than Ever

Truffle is headed back to Shake Shack, which means you’ll have a chance to try this popular menu this fall. And it’s way better than you remember, thanks to Shake Shack’s brand-new additions that take truffle from a small part of the menu to one of the stars.

To celebrate all things Black Truffle, this year the limited-time menu is bigger than previous years’ versions. It includes both truffle-infused takes on Shake Shack’s signature items (yes, that means burgers are obviously included) and a few new twists that’ll spice things up. All of the items are given a flavor boost thanks to black truffle sauce, which is made with black truffle oil that’s handcrafted in Umbria, Italy. 

Here’s what the Black Truffle menu includes this year:

• Black Truffle Burger: A quarter-pound Angus beef burger that includes fontina cheese, crispy sweet onions, and black truffle sauce.
• Black Truffle ‘Shroom: A fried portobello mushroom between a potato bun topped with melted muenster and cheddar cheeses, crispy sweet onions, and black truffle sauce.
• Black Truffle Shack Stack: A quarter-pound Angus beef burger that includes fontina cheese, a fried portobello mushroom filled with muenster and cheddar cheese, and black truffle sauce.
• Black Truffle Parmesan Fries: Crinkle-cut fries topped with parmesan cheese and paired with a side of black truffle sauce.
• Mac & Cheese Bites with Black Truffle Sauce: Fried bites filled with ditalini pasta plus cheddar cheese and American cheese sauce.

Plus, for the first time ever, that savory Black Truffle Sauce is available to add onto your order. You can choose it to dip your Mac & Cheese Bites or pair it with regular menu items like Chicken Bites or Onion Rings — or even use it to fix Shake Shack’s mac and cheese.
