Summer merch drops? Oh, you just know we’re gonna talk about them. You simply can’t keep us away from discussing which food and drinks companies are bringing out limited-edition items for you to enjoy, and so far, we’ve been fairly spoilt for choice. Last month, Mountain Dew brought out a bunch of summer-focused merch, and that move was quickly followed by Dr Pepper’s Creamy Coconut merch release

Now, Starbucks is getting in on the action. The coffee chain has just announced its summer merch, and frankly, there’s a hell of a lot going on. Let’s break it down.

Starbucks Summer Merch

As per its website and food bloggers like @markie_devo, Starbucks’ summer merch is due to arrive on May 12, the same day as its summer menu. It will be sold at participating locations, and these locations will be nationwide.

But what is it bringing out, I hear you cry? Well, it’s bringing out the following:

Drinking Vessels

Okay, so I know that “drinking vessels” isn’t the snappiest way to describe these, but given that this encompasses tumblers, mugs, bottles, and cold cups, I figured it’s best to lump them all together. In size order, we’ve got a 12-oz Stainless Steel Mug, emblazoned with the words “Adventure Begins Now,” to capture that intrepid summer feel. Following this are a 16-oz Cold Cup and a 16-oz Stainless Steel Tumbler, for your refreshers and cold brew, and your coffee, respectively.

Then, Starbucks is releasing a 20-oz Dual Lid Tumbler and a 24-oz Glass Silicone Bottle. Finally, it’s got a big ol’ 40-oz Road Trip Tumbler, complete with a straw. It’s basically the chain’s version of a Stanley.

Totes And Blankets

One big one here, which we anticipate will be a pretty big seller, is its Foldable Picnic Blanket. Folding up into a bag (complete with a shoulder strap) and costing $34.95, and in a printed design, this one will be all over parks across the country. Alongside this, Starbucks is selling a Road Trip Canvas Tote, in powder blue, for $29.95.

Sticker Packs

Want to spend a little less, but still enjoy some merch? Starbucks is selling three different sticker packs: Adventure Stickers, Road Trip Stickers, and Summer Memories Stickers. All three have themed designs, and all three cost $4.95 each.

Keychains

Starbucks is also selling three different keychains here for $4.95 each, which come in pink, green, and blue, and which have its logo on them. The chain is calling them “Motel Keychains,” which we guess is down to their design, and not down to their intended purpose (although if you have a keychain specifically for staying in motel rooms, then we guess you’re gonna love these!).

These merch items won’t be around for long after summer, so if you like the look of them, we wouldn’t delay your purchase. Get ‘em now.
