Taco Bell’s Mexican Pizza is a big deal. Celebrities love it. Non-celebrities love it. Taco Bell loves it – so much so that it’s recently announced that it’s got three new takes on the Mexican Pizza, presumably created to sate the never-ending appetite for this dish. You know what we don’t love about it, though? The price. The Mexican Pizza usually retails at around $5 to $6, and while that’s hardly mega expensive, it’s still a fair bit more than many of its other menu items.

Well, for one day only, you can slash the Mexican Pizza for only one single dollar. Thank you, Taco Bell gods. Here’s what this offer entails, and how you can get it.

Taco Bell is bestowing cut-price Mexican Pizzas upon its fans this coming Tuesday, March 31. That said, there are a few catches here. You have to order the Mexican Pizza through the app, and you can only order one per person. Perhaps the most annoying catch of all, though, is that the offer only applies to the first 30,000 people who choose it. So you’re gonna have to move quickly (and you might have to be comfortable with the prospect of eating Mexican Pizza for a very early lunch, which, to be totally honest, is juuuust fine with us).
Taco Bell’s $1 Mexican Pizza is just the latest in a big deals drive for the chain. Throughout March, it’s been offering customers a lot of ways to get cheaper food, and just a few weeks ago, it teamed up with Grubhub to give people the chance to win free Taco Bell for a year. It’s clearly in a very giving mood; we can only assume that its generosity has been driven by its excitement at all those new menu items announced at Live Mas LIVE.
The Mexican Pizza: A Comeback Kid
Taco Bell’s Mexican Pizza has entered into fast food lore in a way that few other products can boast. It was first introduced in 1985, and people promptly fell head over heels for this strange, yet endlessly delicious combo of tortillas, beef, refried beans, cheese, and a cursory sprinkle of tomatoes. Come 2020, though, and it was wiped off the face of the earth, mysteriously and without any warning.
Well, people weren’t going to put up with that. Fans and celebrities like Doja Cat alike began to pressure Taco Bell to bring it back, with the campaign gaining some pretty wild traction online. In 2022, the restaurant relented, and the Mexican Pizza returned to the menu. Was it all a big, clever PR move from Taco Bell? Who knows. But now, everyone’s happy.
