Every week, the Sporked team sidles up to the tasting table and sets out to find the absolute best of the best packaged foods, the gold hidden in the grocery aisles. Each week we’ll bring you five standouts that truly rocked our taste buds and changed our lives—or at least our buying habits. Here are the best things we ate this week.
- Signature Select Orange Sherbet
-
It’s simple, affordable, and delicious. What more could you want from a food? This orange sherbet is sweet, a little tart, and super creamy. I brought this home and it is now my snack of the summer. I love you, orange sherbet!
- Cinnabon Frosting Filled Cinnapastry
-
Don’t get mad at me for saying this, but these little microwavable pastries might almost be better than an actual Cinnabon. I know! Bonkers! But they are really phenomenal. There’s so much delicious cinnamon-y goo inside and the dough comes out of the microwave so fresh and warm. This is a perfect at-home dessert when you want to get a little fancy and decadent.
- Grillo’s Hot Pickle de Gallo
-
I wasn’t sure what to expect from Grillo’s Pickle de Gallo. Sure, we love their pickles, but what is pickle de gallo? Is there tomato in it? Cilantro? What are you supposed to eat with it? Leave all your concerns and fears behind. This stuff is delicious. It’s just chopped-up pickles and chili peppers in brine, and it’s incredible. We ate it with both tortilla chips and potato chips, and both tasted great. This stuff would also be awesome on a sandwich or wrap. The pickle de gallo possibilities are endless!
- Tyson Frozen Spicy Chicken Sliders
-
These are S-P-I-C-Y! Be prepared. But they’re perfect for spice lovers like myself. The chicken quality is great. The buns are nice and fluffy. I don’t live near any fast food restaurants that specialize in sliders, so these are a great option to keep in my freezer for when I get the craving.
- Snapdragon Vietnamese Pho Bowls
-
This is better than some of the pho I’ve had at restaurants. I was stopped in my literal tracks by the free sample I received at Costco when editor-in-chief Justine Sterling and I were grocery shopping for Sporked taste tests. The broth is unreal. The noodles are the perfect texture. I would buy this in a heartbeat.
