The Mandalorian And Grogu Are Getting AMC-Exclusive Freestyle Sodas

While everyone focuses on the convenience of Coke Freestyle machines, I’ve always been more impressed with their ability to create weird, unique soda blends you can’t find anywhere else. And lately, Coke’s been leaning into that ability by offering unique blends that are exclusive to different locations and venues. Most recently, they started offering three new flavors – Celestial Spritz, Dragon Splash, and Screaming Berry – that are only available at Universal’s Epic Universe theme park.

And now, Coke’s announced two new drinks themed to the upcoming Star Wars film The Mandalorian and Grogu, which will only be available in AMC theaters. The theater chain just added new food items to their menu as well – so your next trip to theater should be a tasty one.

Here’s what we know about the new soda flavors.

What Are These Exclusive Star Wars Sodas?

As you’d expect, the two drinks are combinations of existing Coke Freestyle syrups, although we don’t know exactly what’s getting mixed into these drinks. They’ll be available at AMC Freestyle machines through June 2nd. (The movie comes out May 22nd.)

The two drinks are:

Mandalorian Beskar Brew

Coke describes it as “creamy vanilla root beer meets a burst of juicy grape for a surprisingly bold combo that’s as strong as Beskar and just as unforgettable.”

Grogu Galactic Green Lemonade

“A galactic twist on lemonade, where tangy lime meets sweet pineapple for a crisp, refreshing sip that’s out of this world.”

Honestly, I love the fact that these are weird flavor combinations that you just don’t hear about. I mean, a vanilla & grape root bear? A lime and pineapple lemonade? Those both sound kinda crazy, but I have to admit that I can’t quite imagine what they’d taste like, so I’m definitely hooked.

And it feels right that they’re just slamming flavors together in the same way I used slam my Star Wars figures together as a kid.
