AMC Just Dropped Four New Foods

I love the little game me and my local AMC play. I patronize their theatre and they return the favor by looking the other way at the rotisserie chicken-sized bulge in my pants. It’s not my fault that I can get three Costco rotisserie chickens for the price of one appetizer at the movies.

In great news for the employee that has to pat me down every time I go see a movie, AMC Theaters is dropping four new foods to tempt me. They’re luring me to actually pull out my wallet and order something. And I’ll be honest, it’s working.

Here are the four new items that AMC just dropped so you can see for yourself if they’re worth leaving your home-packed snacks in the car for.

Popcorn Chicken: Finally, the perfect size of chicken for a movie. Ripping it off the bones with my teeth was a little too hard to do when the movie got quiet. Seriously though, popcorn chicken is a huge upgrade to their chicken strips. Now you can finally stop worrying about your date double-dipping a half-eaten strip.

Street Corn Poppers: Deep fried poppers filled with sweet corn, cream cheese, mozzarella, feta, cilantro, lime, and a blend of smoky spices. All the Midwesterners will be happy to hear they come with a side of ranch to dip them in.

Dill Pickle Pretzels: Huge day for me specifically who hates pickles but loves dill pickled flavored things. AMC’s adding a zippy dill pickle seasoning to both their bite sized pretzels and the astronomically large Bavarian Legend pretzel. I think this will pair surprisingly well with the cheese dip. 

Hot Honey Sausage Pizza: Hot honey tries to die but the food industry refuses to let it rest. AMC’s adding a hot honey sausage pizza to their lineup of pizzas. This comes topped with, you guessed it, hot honey and sausage as well as jalapeños.

I don’t know what’s more intriguing, the new menu items or the ever-growing list of novelty popcorn buckets.
