Well, we didn’t have Fireball like this when I was in college. This fall, Fireball is bringing vanilla into their signature liquor. Fireball Torch’d Vanilla aims to bring the familiar appeal of vanilla to the unmistakable taste of Fireball. Someone tell Pitbull the good news! Do we think Pitbull is a fan of vanilla? Anyway, while I respect the collaboration I will admit that I have some reservations.

Lipstick On A Pig
We may just be putting lipstick on a pig with this one, folks. Fireball Torch’d Vanilla aims to blend rich vanilla, toasted marshmallow, smoky oak and warm baking spice before Fireball’s signature cinnamon steals the show. Think warm, gooey cinnamon spiced cupcake with an unmistakable kiss from the fire(ball). A combination of sweet, smoky, and spicy. I love vanilla, but I fear it can only do so much to try to sooth the powerful punch that Fireball delivers.
It seems that Fireball knows what they’re about so they’re leaning into that power. In regards to their vision for this new creation, Danny Suich, Global Brand Director of Fireball said “We had a feeling that there was a bolder, hotter side of vanilla just waiting to be set free. Fireball Torch’d Vanilla is the perfect bottle to warm things up as the days get shorter.”
I think it’s also worth thinking about just how much vanilla you’d have to put into a drink to make it stand out against Fireball’s usual flavor. We’re not talking about just a splash. I’m shivering at the thought already. Thankfully though, we don’t have to wait too long to get our hands on it to try it out for ourselves.
Where To Find It
Starting this September, Fireball Torch’d Vanilla will land at participating retailers nationwide for a limited time in 50mL and 750mL bottles (shooter and regular size). The suggested retail prices are $0.99 for a shooter and $14.99 for the 750mL bottle. Fans 21+ can visit FireballWhisky.com to learn more and find a retailer near them.
Fireball’s last new flavor, Blazin’ Apple, was a permanent addition to their lineup, but this one is not. Beware when you go out to try Torch’d Vanilla that you better do it quickly and you best not fall in love. This one’s just getting a limited drop so you won’t be able to find it in stores forever.
