The One Day You Can Get A Free Smoothie From Smoothie King

Bless companies and their endless efforts to keep us posted on the many national holidays that are created for nearly every food imaginable. In one short week we’ll be getting a big one! If you haven’t guessed already, June 21st is, in fact, National Smoothie Day. Smoothie King is celebrating accordingly because they’re using it as an opportunity to give everyone a smoothie on the house!

You know what―I’m glad Smoothie King is doing this favor for us. They have to earn their title as king and I think giving away free food is the best way. On June 21st, new and existing Healthy Rewards members can receive a free 12oz. Hydration Watermelon smoothie at participating Smoothie King locations nationwide. Just what the doctor ordered for summer hydration.

They’re really fighting for that hydration label, too. The Hydration Watermelon smoothie is packed with electrolytes thanks to some powerhouse ingredients: strawberries, a watermelon juice blend, and coconut water.

Two Brand New Menu Items

In addition to a whole day of free smoothies, Smoothie King is also using the occasion to get people excited for their next launch. Just two days after National Smoothie Day, Smoothie King will be releasing brand new protein-packed chicken flatbreads. They’re aiming to expand their ever growing food menu. Pretty soon we’ll have to call them Smoothie (and Snackies) King!

Smoothie King’s new chicken flatbreads will be available with your choice of chipotle, ranch, or pesto sauce. Of course, everyone has to get on the protein train and Smoothie King is no exception. Each flatbread delivers 15 grams of protein. Protein packing just got that much easier―especially considering Smoothie King has a whole line of high protein smoothies so you can double dip.

The only disappointing thing about all this news is that there’s not actually a Smoothie King near me! My favorite word is free after all, so I would have been all over that Hydration Watermelon smoothie. Maybe they’ll take pity on me and figure out how to get me one from the nearest location (Las Vegas…). One can dream.
