These Seasonal Starbucks Flavors Are Now Here To Stay

Coffee is a part of a lot of people’s daily rituals. I mean, I know I couldn’t go day without it. But how do we keep something as mundane as our morning cup of Joe exciting and something worth waking up to? Seasonal flavors, of course. One sip, and your day is off to a good start. That is until we fall in love. It’s always a heartbreak to see your seasonal favorite at a café leave the menu, especially without ever knowing if it will return.

Well, on June 6, Starbucks announced that five highly sought after seasonal flavors would become permanent fixtures to their menu. Instead of having to wait for the year to circle back around to your favorite flavor, they’re at your fingertips. With no press release or major advertising, a social media teaser said that raspberry, coconut, pistachio, mango, and lavender are here to stay. And the best part is… these fan-favorites are already available.

Seasonal? Not Anymore 

Via an Instagram post showing off coffees, matchas, and refreshers melding lusciously with creamy cold foams and colorful flavors, Starbucks announced the come-back through the caption “and what if I said they’re all here to stay.” And just like that, stores nationwide carry all five flavors again. The result was an uproar of comments showing gratitude toward Starbucks for making people’s caffeine dreams come true.  

Fan reactions ranged from “Thank the heavens” to “I will love you forever and ever, even though I already do.” This exciting flavor announcement comes in many shapes and sizes. Iced or hot, syrup or cold foam―the world is your oyster.  

Why They’re All Coming Back

On their own, each of these seasonal favorites was a huge success. Starbucks said last summer that when their raspberry flavor returned as a brief seasonal item due to demand by its fans, its success was bigger and better than ever. Their press release said that raspberry performed three times better in sales last summer than its previous stint on the menu, and that its raspberry content was outperforming its other posts from the year. 

The pistachio flavor was in such high demand leading up to its 2026 return that Starbucks extended its run on the menu. The lavender cold foam has built up a cult-like following spanning from employees to customers, and many Instagram commenters insist that the mango refresher is the best fresher flavor Starbucks has released yet.
