This 2025 Oreo We Loved Just Returned to Shelves

Falling in love with a limited edition Oreo flavor is a dangerous game. One moment you’re living the high life and the next moment they’re ripped away from you. You may never see them again. Thankfully sometimes Oreo takes pity on us and rereleases a seasonal flavor the next time around―and Apple Pie à la Mode Oreo lovers will be excited to hear the good news.

They’re Back!

It seems that we’re not the only ones who loved Apple Pie à la Mode Oreos enough for them to warrant a return once more. Enough of you fanatics out there bought them up and Oreo is gracing us with the gift of their return. For those that didn’t get to try them the first go around or need a bit of a refresher, let’s get another rundown of what’s going on with the Apple Pie à la Mode Oreo.

Why Do We Love Them So Much?

There’s a lot to love here. And that’s from someone who much more often prefers the original dark cocoa cookies than the golden version. In the words of Sporked’s Griffin Parker, who tried these out for a taste test last year, “This cookie tastes more like apple pie than actual apple pies I’ve eaten.” You can taste everything in these Oreos―from the apple pie base to the creamy ice cream on top. How do they do it? I wish I knew!

Please, Please Oreo Keep These for Good

Very often I’ll take a look through the Sporked archives to see what we’ve said about a product. Never have I seen something like this. We really gave these suckers some coverage. We announced their release, we tried them ourselves, and we included them in our general Oreo fall release coverage. These cookies even earned third place in our ranking of 12 seasonal Oreo flavors before crowning second place of the Oreo flavors released last year.

Call it our attempt at getting these Oreos the love they so desperately deserve. We love them and we want to see them around all year long. In the meantime, we’ll take all the time with them that we can get. That time this year has already begun. You’ll start to see them on shelves now. As for how long they’ll last, we’re just not sure. So stock up and pray that they last a while.
