Who says the holidays have to be all about cookies? Surely, there’s room in there for cookie-inspired desserts, too! The very best holiday cookie out there has gotten itself turned into a brand new Twinkie. Or rather, got blended up and injected into a Twinkie. Hostess is putting its spin on the nostalgic holiday cookie by filling their golden sponge cake with creamy snickerdoodle-flavored filling. Conveniently, these are individually wrapped so you can fit them into any holiday plans you have.

Yes, I’m saying you should be filling all the stockings of your loved ones with Snickerdoodle Twinkies this year. You can also pull these out for a convenient sweet treat after your big holiday feast. Really, there’s no wrong time to eat a Snickerdoodle-flavored Twinkie. I admit, I do love snickerdoodles in their base form so I might be a little biased on this one.

I really love to see this development from Hostess. Snickerdoodles don’t get nearly as much time in the spotlight as they deserve. It’s all about peppermint and gingerbread this time of the year! To be fair, there’s already been a Twinkies flavor that incorporated mint into the mix. It’s high time that snickerdoodles got their chance at success.
