This Fan-Favorite Red Bull Winter Edition Is Returning To Shelves

Like my colleague Griffin said before, there’s a system to our Red Bull news coverage. We are now in what’s called the confirmation of the leak. I’m here to tell you that we were, in fact, telling the truth when we promised that Red Bull’s festive winter edition flavor would be back in stores before you know it. I must admit though, we’re a little conflicted by the news.

Good News First

Red Bull Winter Edition 2025: Fuji Apple & Ginger is returning! With a new name. This time it’s being called Red Bull Apple Edition because it seems to be returning for more than just another seasonal run. We’re happy to hear the news. We’ve been a fan of this one since our initial taste test last year.

Red Bull Apple Edition has a genuine Fuji apple flavor that’s nicely paired with a hint of ginger. Yes, other apple flavors besides green apple exist and energy drink companies are finally catching on! If anything, I’m interested to see if the ginger sticks around. At the very least, it’s getting bumped off of the title page with the name now being “apple edition.” Griffin thought this flavor could do just fine without the ginger so maybe his influence is all powerful!

Now Let’s Talk About The Bad News

There was a sugar free version of the Red Bull Winter Edition 2025: Fuji Apple & Ginger drink. It seems that Red Bull might have shelved that version for the initial return that’s coming up. Not that we’re too sad to see it get left out. While the sugar free version was a bit extra for us in execution so maybe they just need a bit more time to get the recipe right if it’ll stick around.

When To Expect Apple Edition In Stores

As we promised in our initial breaking of the news, Red Bull Apple Edition should be making its way into stores at the end of August. Would you look at that, it’s past the end of August! You’ll now be able to find the delightful drink in 8.4oz and 12oz cans wherever Red Bull is sold!

While it would have been nice to see this make a return in both the regular and sugar free version, I’ll still take the win where we can. In a changing landscape where you never know if your favorite limited-released item will return, we have to count our blessings. Red Bull Apple Edition is back once more and we’re not about to let the chance to stock up pass us by.
